Research On The Curriculum Of Physical Education Master (Full-time) In Colleges And Universities In Northwest China

In order to speed up the training of applied talents in higher education that meet the social needs,the state has made new arrangements for the reform and development of higher education.In 2009,the Steering Committee of China's Professional Degree Education proposed to adjust the training structure and reform the training mode of postgraduates,and colleges and universities began to recruit students for sports masters(full-time).With the original intention of creating excellent talents for the development of sports in China,the training structure and mode of sports master's degree(full-time)show differences,and its curriculum also shows a diversified trend.The scientificalness and rationality of the curriculum is an important way to ensure the quality of postgraduate education in China,and it is an essential link to ensure the quality of postgraduate training.It plays a comprehensive,comprehensive and fundamental role in the growth and success of graduate students.Based on this,in order to improve the quality of personnel training,this paper takes the full-time P.E.Master's curriculum in northwest China(Shaanxi Province,Gansu Province,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Qinghai Province,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region)as the research object,and analyzes the full-time P.E.Master's curriculum in 11 universities in northwest China by using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,so as to understand the current situation and implementation process of the curriculum in northwest China.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Training objectives and requirements:The full-time Master of Physical Education(full-time)in Northwest China's colleges and universities is based on the national training standards for master's degree students,in line with the actual situation of colleges and universities,and according to their own school-running conditions and characteristics,so that colleges and universities can formulate specific and targeted training objectives that are in line with students'development.(2)Current situation of curriculum offering:From the analysis of curriculum types,the professional degree of Master of Physical Education(full-time)in China mainly includes four professional fields:physical education teaching,sports training,social sports guidance and management,and competition organization and management,while there are few majors in competition organization and management in universities in Northwest China.According to the analysis of curriculum types,it is divided into public courses,core courses in professional fields,elective courses and teaching practice courses in the national training scheme for master of physical education.Colleges and universities in northwest China have added some courses for the comprehensive development of physical education masters(full-time),which makes the courses offered by colleges and universities more rational;According to the types,hours and credits of courses offered in various colleges and universities,there are differences among them.(3)Current situation of curriculum content:The contents of full-time physical education master's courses in colleges and universities in Northwest China mainly include public courses,professional core courses,practical courses and degree-based courses.According to the survey,the number of public courses offered in colleges and universities in Northwest China is relatively concentrated,the setting of credits is relatively low,the basic courses of degree are relatively scattered,and there are also some problems such as lack of innovation and outdated contents in the professional core courses.(4)Current situation of curriculum implementation:As far as the training period of master of physical education(full-time)in China is concerned,the training period is set at 2-4 years,and the curriculum is set at 4-6 semesters.The courses offered by colleges and universities in Northwest China vary from semester to semester,but its purpose is to train professional and applied talents in the field of physical education in China.(5)The characteristics of the full-time P.E.Master's curriculum in colleges and universities in Northwest China are outstanding,which is manifested by the concretization of students' training objectives in colleges and universities,the differences in curriculum contents due to regional characteristics,and the implementation of the curriculum conforms to the national standards.Then colleges and universities also show corresponding solutions to the problems.The training requirements of colleges and universities in Northwest China are lack of pertinence,the curriculum content tends to be theoretical,the students of elective courses lack autonomy,the division of professional curriculum content is not fine enough,and the credit setting is not perfect enough.According to the present situation and development of the curriculum of the master of physical education(full-time)postgraduates in Northwest China,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Strengthen students' awareness of training objectives.Colleges and universities should strengthen students' awareness and understanding of their own training objectives.(2)Increase the types of elective courses,strengthen the communication between disciplines,and improve students' right to choose courses independently.(3)Optimize the setting of course credits,and rationally allocate credits for various types of courses.(3)Pay attention to practical courses,enhance the applicability of courses,and improve the fit of courses.
