As a positive psychological tendency and externalized behavior,interpersonal trust plays a great role in promoting human development and social harmony,while family is the first environment for individual growth,and its influence on middle school students can not be underestimated.Objective: This study aims to explore the influence of family function on interpersonal trust of middle school students,and introduce emotional intelligence as an individual factor as a mediating variable,to understand whether family function can indirectly influence interpersonal trust through emotional intelligence,and to further explore the role of various dimensions of family function in it.Finally,according to the results of the study,we put forward some targeted educational suggestions.Methods: Using convenient sampling method,769 middle school students from three middle schools in Hunan Province were selected as the research objects.Family Function Rating Scale,Emotional Intelligence Scale and Interpersonal Trust Scale were used for questionnaire research.After data collection,SPSS23.0 and AMOS were used for analysis.Results :(1)The interpersonal trust of middle school students was well developed and the level of interpersonal trust was high,but the level of interpersonal trust of ordinary middle school students was significantly higher than that of secondary vocational students,and the difference was significant in grades and grades,but not significant in gender.The whole family function of middle school students is generally played;The overall level of emotional intelligence developed well.The family function of vocational middle school students is significantly worse than that of ordinary middle school students,and the level of emotional intelligence is significantly lower than that of ordinary middle school students.(2)Correlation analysis found that family function was significantly positively correlated with emotional intelligence and interpersonal trust of middle school students,and all dimensions of family function were significantly positively correlated with interpersonal trust of middle school students.Except for the dimension of emotional response,all other dimensions of family function were significantly positively correlated with emotional intelligence.(3)intermediary test results show that the emotional intelligence function influence on middle school students interpersonal trust in the family in partial intermediary role,further analysis found that emotional intelligence function of problem solving,communication,role in the family,emotional involvement,the overall function dimension influence on middle school students interpersonal trust partial intermediary role and functions in the family the behavior of the control dimension influence on man-machine trust completely intermediary role.Conclusion: Good family functions(communication,emotional response,emotional involvement,role,problem solving,behavior control)can promote middle school students' interpersonal trust,and emotional intelligence is one of the important mediating variables.
