The social economy of China is in a new normal stage,and entrepreneurial activities play an important role in promoting employment opportunities,alleviating employment pressure,promoting industrial upgrading,and serving the country's modernization.Because college students have a wealth of knowledge and creativity,they become the main force in the cultivation of entrepreneurial talents.How to carry out entrepreneurship education to enhance students' entrepreneurial intentions has become a major research hotspot in domestic entrepreneurship research.Although the existing theoretical researches outline the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intentions,the mechanism of how entrepreneurial education affects entrepreneurial intention is insufficient and the conclusions are somewhat different.Therefore,this research attempts to explore the following questions:(1)What is the mechanism of entrepreneurship education affecting college students' entrepreneurial intentions?(2)What are the effects of different learning motivations on this mechanism?Research adopts a combination of theoretical research and empirical research,mainly based on metacognitive theory and metacognitive transfer theory,and carried out the following sub-researches:First,based on the analysis of previous research results,the author initially proposes a conceptual model of entrepreneurship education that affects metacognitive ability and entrepreneurial intentions in depth,and through a questionnaire survey of 437 college students,using confirmatory factor analysis(CFA),structural equation modeling(SEM)and other methods to carry out empirical analysis,so as to adjust and revise the conceptual model of entrepreneurial education's influence mechanism on entrepreneurial intention.The model points out that the metacognitive ability of college students is the mediating factor of entrepreneurial education affecting college students' entrepreneurial intention.Second,the author reviews the literature on metacognition and learning motivation,further explores the influence mechanism between college students' learning motivation and metacognitive ability to propose conceptual models.Besides,the author uses 437 college students questionnaire data to identify the effect of college students with different learning motivations on their own metacognitive abilities when receiving entrepreneurial education.The author uses 437 questionnaire data of college students to verify and modify the model by AMOS 24.0 and identify the role of college students with different learning motivations on their own metacognitive abilities when receiving entrepreneurial education.Throughout the full text,this research is based on entrepreneurial research,entrepreneurial education,entrepreneurial intention,metacognition and learning motivation and other related theories,focusing on the basic question of "how entrepreneurship education affects college students' entrepreneurial intention" to make the following innovations:First,it integrates theoretical research,case analysis and sample statistical analysis and research,systematically connects entrepreneurial education,metacognitive ability and entrepreneurial intention to open the black box of the mechanism of entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intention.Besides,it points out that metacognitive ability is a key intermediary variable of entrepreneurial education affecting entrepreneurial intentions,which makes an important supplement to entrepreneurial-related theoretical research.Second,it analyzes that metacognitive ability has profound connotation and important role for college students receiving entrepreneurial education.In recent years,researches on entrepreneurship education from a cognitive perspective has been a hot topic,but few studies have focused on the supervision and regulation of the cognitive process.This research constructs the research hypothesis of entrepreneurial education and metacognition,metacognition and entrepreneurial intention for the first time,and through empirical analysis effectively fills up the research gap of metacognitive ability in college students,and also enriches the related theories of entrepreneurial cognition.Third,it explains the influence mechanism of learning motivation in entrepreneurial education affecting college students' metacognitive ability.At present,the entrepreneurial education system is mainly constructed from the "supply side" and lacks a more in-depth understanding of the specific attitudes of college students on the "demand side".After establishing the theoretical framework of "entrepreneurship education-metacognitive abilityentrepreneurial intention",this research further explores the role of students' learning motivation in the process,and provides new directions and suggestions for improving the development of entrepreneurship education in universities.
