This research analyzes the application of skills and tactics in different competition stages of professional athletes around the world and sorts out the regular characteristics of the application of skills and tactics in different stages of the competition. It provides a theoretical basis for improving the performance of outstanding male athletes in China and the technical and tactical training of youth tennis. The research adopts methods of literature reviews, video analysis, and mathematical statistics, and the objects mainly focus on the top 10 athletes at the end of 2019.It is primarily through a technical and tactical analysis software, that calls Dartfish,to comprehensively analyse the application characteristics and scoring rate of the three stages of techniques and tactics, which includes serving, receiving and locking in a stalemate from the 46 games of the hardcourt of the Association Tennis Professional Masters' Competition(aftercall the “ATP” competition). After the analysis of Dartfish, there are six related research results. The first is the landing point of the serve: the usage rate of the outer corner of the first serve is greater than that of the inner corner;for the second serve, the placements are more scattered, and the midway of zone two has a relatively high proportion. The second is the speed of the serve: among the average ball speeds of a first serve, the inner corner in zone 1 is the highest, but in the average speed of the second serve, the two outside corners have the fastest speed. The third is the serving and scoring rate: in the first and second serve, the server side has a higher scoring rate than the receiving side. The fourth is the receiving: during the first serve, all athletes mainly use slicing and front-style to receive;the second serve mainly uses the ways of font-style,back-style and slicing; When receiving the first and second serve, most of the services are received in the back area of the court. The fifth is the number of beats in the stalemate stage: most rounds of the first serve are within 5 beats, and the second serve is within 2?5 beats;in terms of scoring rate, the serving side is similar to the receiving side. The sixth is the scoring method and rate in the stalemate phase: the scoring rate from high to low is the opponent's forced error, the opponent's unforced error, and the winning points;the usage rate of the bottom-line stalemate change line in the first and second serve is higher than the usage rate of the bottom-line stalemate shifting in the first and second serve.Five corresponding research conclusions are drawn through the results of the above research data.First of all,the technical and tactical features of the serving stage demonstrate that: in the first serve, the scoring rate of the serving side is much higher than that of the receiving side, which completely evaluates that the serving side has a remarkable advantage on the first serve;in the second serve, the scoring rate of the serving side and the receiving side is not much different. Thus,in recent high-level tennis competitions, improving the quality of the first and second serve is the key to achieving excellent results in the game.Next, the technical and tactical characteristics of the receiving and serving stage display that: in the process of receiving the first serve, the receiving side in the receiving and serving stage mainly adopts the front-style,especially the forehand's receiving accounts for the most important proportion, and the backhand mainly use front-style and the slice; In the landing point of the receiving, whether it is the first serve or the second serve,it is mainly concentrated in the back zone, and the ratio of the second serve is higher than the first serve. Therefore,it is illustrated that following the decrease of the power of the second serve, the receiving side has strengthened the offensiveness of the receiving.Meanwhile, the return route of the receiving and serving side is relatively easier to control the route of the first serve, which not only increases the difficulty for the serving side to return the ball, but also improves the scoring rate in the subsequent rounds.Thirdly, the technical and tactical characteristics of the stalemate stage manifest that men's tennis hardcourt matches are basically played within 5 shots, which is consistent with the time characteristics of tennis with maximum intensity repetitive exercise(2-10 s)in a short period of time.It is reminded that male athletes should pay attention to the training within 5 shots during hard-court competitions or training, also strengthen their offense under the condition of stable shots.Fourth, the ratio of the scoring forms in the stalemate phase from high to low is the opponent's forced error, the opponent's unforced error, and the winning points.Accordingly,in the arrangement and design of special technical training, reasonable arrangements should according to the actual situation of the athletes, and the relationship between stability and offense should be grasped. In the process of personal technical improvement, while the offensive ability develops, the quality and stability should also be strengthened.Fifth, during the stalemate of the game, the use rate of athletes to change lines is significantly greater than that to shift the speed, and the scoring rate is also higher.Regardless of whether it is a line change or a speed change, the utilization rate has a great relationship with the serve. The utilization rate of the server decreases, while the utilization rate of the receiver increases. The scoring rate and fault rate of changing lines increases with the increase in usage rate, and the speed shifting rate changes with the change of offensive initiative. Thus,in the daily special training process, the line-changing training should be the main program, and some speed shifting training should be arranged appropriately as an auxiliary, and the practice of other scoring methods should be added at the same time.
