With the continuous development and changes of Chinese society,people pay more and more attention to higher education.As the main way to enter colleges and universities,the college entrance examination is very important to most high school teenagers.Even in the view of some people,the "failure" of the college entrance examination means that there is no bright future.Although there are many ways to realize the value of life,influenced by the cultural concept of paying attention to test results,many teenagers who failed in the college entrance examination will be hit,have negative emotions and bring many problems.Teenagers’ physical and mental development is still unbalanced and their ability to resist pressure is poor.If they are troubled by negative emotions for a long time,it will be unfavorable to their socialization process.For a long time,the society has always focused on the "champion" and "Xueba" of the college entrance examination,and paid less attention to the teenagers who failed in the college entrance examination.Teenagers who failed in the college entrance examination should receive more attention and support from the society.Therefore,from the perspective of social work,this study tries to explore the methods and effects of social work services to alleviate the negative emotions of teenagers who failed in the college entrance examination.Based on this,this study focuses on the young people who failed in the college entrance examination through case work,analyzes the emotional status of the young people who found the case through questionnaires and other surveys,and constantly explores the reasons for their negative emotions in the interview.After finding that the client showed more irrational beliefs,the author decided to use rational emotional therapy as the guiding theory.After establishing a professional relationship with him,the author carried out seven professional services for the client in accordance with the service mode of rational emotional therapy,and gradually diagnosed,shaken and eliminated the irrational belief of the client.Through the later evaluation,it is found that this service alleviates the negative emotions,changes his irrational behaviors such as self closure,and improves his interpersonal relationships,which proves that the case work can effectively solve the negative emotions of teenagers who failed in the college entrance examination.The four stage service mode of rational emotion can effectively guide the client to recognize the problems and actively solve the problems.The client has also improved his own ability in this process,which fully confirms that rational emotion therapy has important guiding significance for the practical process of alleviating the negative emotions of teenagers who failed in the College entrance examination.
