| In the context of the strategy of a powerful country in transportation and the high-quality development of the highway industry,our country has launched a new generation of smart highway pilot projects.The primary issue for the promotion of smart highways is the construction of road traffic infrastructure and its traffic environment intelligent perception system.Among them,the construction of road weather information system(RWIS)network can realize the monitoring,forecasting and early warning of various meteorological disasters,and provide a strong guarantee for maintaining unblocked roads and travel safety.As a part of intelligent transportation infrastructure,the location of road weather information system stations affects the scope and accuracy of monitoring,and the problem of reasonable layout has gradually attracted the attention of the society.Firstly,this paper analyzes the research background and significance of the layout of road weather information system stations on smart highway,and reviews the location of highway road weather information system stations,the location of traffic facilities in new infrastructure fields such as roadside unit(RSU),traffic detector and charging / replacement power station,and the location of emergency,logistics,water transportation and other facilities considering failure risk and reliability.This paper introduces the concept of smart highway,the difference between smart highway and ordinary highway;the concept,construction content and guarantee mechanism of road weather information system;the concept,classification and main meteorological elements of road weather information system station;and the background,concept,non-inferior solution and solution method of multi-objective optimization.Then it introduces the development of smart highway from the aspects of construction exploration practice,key technology,top-level design and system architecture,analyzes the layout requirements and existing problems of road weather information system stations of smart highway,and discusses the impact of smart highway on the site selection and layout of road weather information system stations.Aiming at the three typical application scenarios of smart highway: vehicle-infrastructure cooperation and automatic driving,all-weather running and active traffic control,and location based service,three objectives are proposed,which are composed of the minimum total construction and operation cost,the maximum reliability of the system composed of the selected stations,and the maximum total vehicle mileage of the covered sections.Based on those objectives as well as key constraints like the maximum number of stations allowed to be constructed during the planning period and the recommended shortest distance between two stations,a multi-objective optimization model was constructed,and a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm with elite strategy was used to solve that model.Finally,taking the layout of road weather information system stations in the main part of Weiqing Expressway under construction as an example,a non-inferior solution set is obtained.For example,in one Pareto solution 7 deployment locations are selected from 12 candidate points and one type of sensor is configured for each station.Its total cost is 1.09175 million yuan,reliability 0.99379,and total vehicle mileage traveled 31809.75 million kilometers.The influence of the maximum number of deployments on the value of objective function was discussed.The results show that three objective values have different increasing trends as the maximum number of deployments increases,and when the maximum number of deployments increases from 9 to 10 and 11,the increase in reliability is relatively slight.For each objective,the solution results of single objective model are analyzed respectively.At the end of this paper,the content of this paper is summarized,and the methods to improve the service level of the site and the possible research directions are discussed.More smart highway application scenarios can be added in the future.Further discussion is needed on the temporal and spatial differences of weather and the integration layout with the network connected vehicle mobile sensor.It is suggested to continue in-depth research in the three directions of investment and financing,random environment and multi network integration. |
