| Childhood obesity is one of the most important public health problems worldwide. At present, due to excessive nutrition, lack of exercise and other reasons, children’s physical fitness is getting worse and worse, and insufficient physical activity level is still very prominent.Childhood obesity not only has a serious impact on current physical development, but also has a serious impact on physical and mental health.Studies have shown that the level of motor development in obese children is related to physical activity participation, and obese children perform significantly lower than healthy weight children of the same age in gross and fine motor skills, balance, and hand and foot coordination.Childhood is a critical period for the formation and development of motor ability in the process of growth and development.8-9 years old is a critical age for children’s cognition and growth.Early diagnosis of the motor ability of obese children should be carried out to develop the motor ability of obese children by means of intervention,so as to reduce the incidence of childhood obesity, improve motor skills and increase their interest in sports activities.Latin dance,as an artistic physical activity, closely combines different parts of the body, the established order of movements and movement requirements, and dances with cheerful music.Compared with regular physical education,Latin dance is more interesting. It can not only improve the physical coordination, but also has a very important positive significance for improving the movement ability of obese children and promoting physical and mental health. In this paper,50 obese children aged 8-9 were selected from Lotte Primary School in Changqing District,Jinan City(excluding 2 children due to excessive leave, the actual 48children)as research objects. The experimental intervention was carried out during after-school delay service, and the experiment period was 15 weeks. The motor ability level of obese children was studied by means of literature, expert interview, experiment, measurement and mathematical statistics, and the experimental group and control group were set up.The experimental group conducted the intervention through the Latin dance teaching program, and the control group conducted the teaching according to the physical education curriculum standards of primary and secondary schools,so as to explore the influence of Latin dance on the movement ability of obese children aged 8-9 years. After the 15-week Latin dance intervention, the motor ability of obese children in the experimental group and control group was measured and evaluated by the Canadian Sports Literacy Assessment(CAMSA,a branch of CAPL)motor ability test tool, and the collected data were analyzed by spss statistical analysis. The results of this experiment were as follows:1.After the Latin dance intervention, the total score of motor ability, time score and skill score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group in conventional physical education, and there was a very significant difference. In 7 specific motor ability test items, the experimental group’s scores of sideslip step, running jump step and hopping foot were significantly better than the control group, while the scores of hopping foot, catching ball, throwing and kicking foot were better than the control group, but there was no significant difference. The movement ability of obese children in the control group was also improved under routine physical education, but compared with the experimental group of Latin dance intervention,Latin dance intervention has a more significant improvement effect on the movement ability of obese children.2.After the Latin dance intervention, the total score of motor ability of obese boys in the experimental group was better than that of obese girls, and the total score of motor ability of obese girls was better than that of obese boys before the experiment. The score of obese boys was better than that of obese girls in terms of time score, and the score of obese girls was better than that of obese boys before and after the experiment in terms of skill score. In 7specific motor ability and skill test items, the improvement range of object control skill scores of obese girls in the experimental group was better than that of obese boys, and the improvement range of displacement skill scores of obese boys was better than that of obese girls.3.After the Latin dance intervention, obese children in the experimental group were more effective in improving their movement ability than those in the conventional control group.Compared with before and after the experiment, the motor ability, time score and skill score of obese children in the experimental group were significantly improved.Among the 7specific motor ability test skills, sideslip step,one-foot jump, running and jumping displacement skills had particularly significant improvement effects. In the matter control test skills, the scores of catching, throwing and kicking were all better than those of the control group, but there was no significant difference. The main findings are as follows:1.Conventional physical education intervention has a certain promotion effect on the motor ability of obese children in the control group, but compared with the experimental group of Latin dance teaching intervention,Latin dance teaching has a more significant improvement effect on the motor ability of obese children.2.Latin dance teaching intervention can promote the development of the motor ability of obese children.Latin dance improves the displacement skills of obese boys better than obese girls, and improves the object control skills of obese girls better than obese boys.3.Latin dance teaching intervention can improve the completion speed of the motor ability test of obese children. After 15 weeks of Latin dance teaching intervention, the completion speed of the motor ability test of obese children has been significantly improved.4.Compared with conventional physical education,Latin dance teaching intervention can better promote the motor ability level of obese children, especially the one-side slide,one-foot jump and running jump level of displacement movements, and the level of material control skills has also been improved. |
