A Research Of Astronomical And Astrological Signatures In The Five Epochs Of Tsinghua Canon

The newly released "Tsinghua University Tibetan Warring States Bamboo Jane(eleven)" includes the long Warring States bamboo book "Five Epochs".As an all-encompassing anonymous pre-Qin book,the publication of the Five Epochs provides important documentary materials and academic value for the study of ancient Chinese astronomical calendars,mountain and river products,political thought,etc.This paper takes the astronomical astrology contained in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" as the research object,and examines the astronomical and astrological texts in the Five Epochs from the perspectives of philology,bibliography,astronomy,folklore,sociology,etc.,explores their operation laws,and excavates the thought intent refracted behind astronomical stars.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main content of the article is divided into the following parts:The first chapter provides a detailed explanation and comprehensive analysis of the concept of "astronomical stars" from the perspective of hermeneutics.As the key content of astronomical astrology,the article cuts the names and texts of the Twenty-Eight Mansions in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" one by one and displays them in the form of pictures,extensively collects the interpretation opinions of experts and scholars,summarizes and supplements the names of the Twenty-Eight Mansions in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" on the basis of comprehensive research of various theories,and pays attention to the names of Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" that are different from other star systems,focusing on exploring the reason for their names,so as to systematically grasp the unique connotation of the names of the Twenty-Eight Mansions in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs".The second chapter mainly distinguishes the three major astrological systems of the pre-Qin Gan,Shi and Wuxian families,and the different astrological systems have established different stellar division systems,and the records of the Twenty-Eight Mansions names are also slightly different,and the article explores that the astronomical star system of Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" is more inclined to Gan’s,and By comparing and examining the differences between the names of the Twenty-Eight Mansions contained in the Five Epochs of Tsinghua Jian and the Gan clan of the Hanshu-Art and Literature,the characteristics of the Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" Twenty-Eight Mansions system were summarized.The third chapter examines the operation law of astronomical astrology in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs".After thousands of years of development,ancient Chinese astronomical observers have formed a set of astronomical and astrological theories with Chinese characteristics.By sorting out the relevant records of astronomical and astrological signs in early excavated documents and handed down documents,the knowledge of astronomical and astrology in ancient China is sorted out and interpreted,and its historical development context is outlined.As the focus of research,this chapter uses the theoretical knowledge of ancient astronomy to discuss the Four Images orientations,the Twenty-Eight Mansions orders and the cosmic space system of the five epochs about "sun,moon,stars,stars and years",and further appreciates the cosmic system of "Heaven,Earth,God and man" constructed by Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs".The fourth chapter explores the ideological connotations conveyed by astronomical and astrological signs in Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs".On the one hand,the observation of astronomical stars reflects the subjective understanding of the ancients about the natural world;On the other hand,the emergence of ancient philosophical ideas and political ideas also stemmed from the observation of celestial phenomena in nature.Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs" begins with astronomical calendars to build a grand cosmic system,and the personnel corresponding to astronomical stars and deities is the focus of the "Five Epochs".According to the Tsinghua Jian’s "Five Epochs",the main contents of astronomical and astrological signs are recorded,revealing the theory of the five elements of yin and yang,ethics and morality and political thought behind it.
