With the continuous improvement of modern industrialization,the innovation of transmission technology is also accelerating.For gear transmission,modern industrial machinery puts forward higher requirements for its transmittable power,transmission efficiency,transmission stability,and transmission load.As a new type of transmission,face gear has the advantages of compact transmission structure,light weight,no axial positioning requirements,large transmission ratio and coincidence,high load carrying capacity,and low noise compared with traditional gear reducers.Has been widely used in the defense industry.However,due to the particularity of face gears,for face gears with different numbers of teeth and sizes,the cylindrical gears that mesh with them are different,so the requirements for various parameters of the tool are also different.In the need to achieve higher precision aerospace face gear processing In the process,the number of tools will be increased and the cost of face gear processing will be increased.Gear turning method is currently a gear cutting method for machining internal gear rings.It has the advantages of high efficiency,high precision and no undercut.This article studies the application of gear turning method to the processing of aviation face gears in order to achieve high precision of face gears efficient machining.The main research work of the thesis is as follows:1.Based on the principle of gear meshing,through the research on the design method of spur gears,starting with the meshing spur cylindrical gear,the tooth surface equation of the face gear is determined,and the value range of the tooth width of the face gear is given;According to the tooth surface equation,a calculation program for the discrete points of the tooth surface of the face gear is compiled,and the modeling method of the three-dimensional model of the face gear is verified;referring to the cylindrical gear turning method,the machining motion model of the face gear is given.2.Based on the tooth surface meshing standard,the tooth surface of the face gear is meshed;according to the face gear tooth surface equation,a calculation program for the coordinates of the discrete points of the tooth surface and the normal vector is compiled,which can directly input the basic gear to be processed.Parameter,generate the ideal tooth surface discrete point coordinates of any gear.3.Based on the gear tool design manual and related documents,according to the basic parameters of the face gear to be processed,the basic parameters and structural parameters of the face gear skiving tool are determined,and the three-dimensional model of the skiving tool is established through Solidworks.4.Based on Abaqus finite element analysis software,take different tool feed speeds,cutting depths,and tool tip clearance angles,analyze the law of their influence on the cutting force and cutting temperature of face gear turning;The Vericut cutting simulation software carried out the simulation machining of the skiving process,based on the simulation results,the tool parameters are optimized to improve the machining accuracy of the tooth surface.5.Based on the above research results,the face gear skiving machining experiment was carried out on the H650C spiral bevel gear milling machine,and the tooth pitch error and tooth profile error were detected through the gear measurement center to verify the design of the straight face gear,tooth surface dispersion,point calculation and the machining of surface gears by the skiving method.
