Research On Energy Consumption Balance Optimization Algorithm Of Internet Of Things In Oil And Gas Pipelines | Posted on:2023-11-06 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X X Zhong | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2531306773460314 | Subject:Master of Engineering | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Oil and gas internet of things(OGIOT)is an effective means to guarantee the safety of oil and gas pipelines.Limited energy of devices in OGIOT will seriously affect the safety and security of oil and gas pipelines.Therefore,balancing the energy consumption of OGIOT and prolonging the network life is a hot research topic for energy saving in Internet of Things(Io T).This paper optimizes the OGIOT energy consumption balance problem,and the main contents and innovations are as follows.(1)To solve the problem of unbalanced energy consumption in the oil-gas Internet of Things,a double-cluster routing algorithm based on improved Particle swarm optimization(PSO)is proposed.The algorithm constructs relay cluster and edge cluster according to the distance between nodes and base station,which reduces the transmission distance of nodes in edge cluster.At the same time,double cluster heads are selected in relay cluster to balance the energy consumption of cluster heads.Then the fitness function is constructed according to the residual energy and distance information of nodes,and the improved PSO algorithm is introduced to optimize the cluster head election.Simulation results show that,compared with LEACH,LEACH-E and LEACH-OR algorithms,this algorithm delays the time of the first dead node by 92.2%,82.6% and 71.4% respectively,and reduces the energy consumption of cluster head by 57.4%,57.2% and 65.3% respectively.The proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the energy consumption of cluster head and prolong the network life in linear systems such as oil and gas pipelines.(2)A non-uniform clustering algorithm based on energy harvesting is proposed for the "hot zone" problem in oil and gas Io T.The algorithm takes into account the residual energy of nodes,the distance between nodes and base stations,the density of neighboring nodes and the distance between nodes and energy harvesting sources when setting the node competition radius to improve the non-uniform cluster formation effect,and elects double cluster heads to balance the energy consumption of cluster heads,uses multi-hop routing to balance the energy consumption of network in the data transmission phase,and introduces wireless energy harvesting technology to extend the network lifetime.The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively extend the Io T survival cycle.(3)To extend the lifetime of oil and gas Io T,an energy-efficient routing algorithm based on dual cluster heads is proposed.The algorithm fully considers the current residual energy of sensor nodes,historical average energy,distance between nodes and base stations,density of neighboring nodes and distance between nodes and energy harvesting sources in the cluster head election process,and elects dual cluster heads in the same cluster.To reduce the energy consumption of the network,a novel node working mode switching strategy and data transmission strategy are proposed.Simulation experiments show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the network energy consumption and extend the Io T lifetime compared with the traditional algorithm. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Oil and gas pipeline IoT, dual cluster head, energy harvesting, energy consumption balancing, cluster routing algorithm | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
