In recent years,with the development of science and technology,more materials have been required to be used in more severe environments,and people have put forward higher requirements for the performance of materials.At the same time,the exhaustion of resources and the deterioration of the environment have made people have to Look for environmentally friendly,recyclable materials to replace traditional materials.Chopped basalt fiber is a natural fiber from basalt ore.The fiber itself is easy to obtain.Compared with carbon fiber,it has the advantages of low price,better insulation and better flame retardancy.It is equivalent to the tensile strength of glass fiber,but has better acid and alkali resistance and higher modulus than glass fiber.In this paper,chopped basalt fibers are used as reinforcing fillers,and acrylic resin,epoxy resin,and polyimide resin are used as resin matrix.The different contents and different aspect ratios of chopped basalt fibers in acrylic resin matrix are studied.Effects of macroscopic morphology,microstructure,mechanical properties and UV aging resistance.The effects of different additions and different aspect ratios of chopped basalt fibers on the macromorphology,microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of epoxy resin bases were investigated.The effects of different contents and different aspect ratios of chopped basalt fibers on the macromorphology,microstructure,mechanical properties,corrosion resistance and thermal stability of polyimide resin matrix were studied.The main research work includes:1.When an appropriate amount of chopped basalt fiber(diameter 10μm)with a size of 1 to 100 μm is added to the acrylic resin base,it can be well dispersed in the matrix resin,but after the content reaches 30 wt.%,Slight agglomeration.The content of chopped basalt fibers has a greater impact on the performance of acrylic resin-based scribe paints.When the content of chopped basalt fibers with a diameter of 10 μm and an aspect ratio of 2 to 4 is 30 wt.%,The composite coating has the best impact resistance and maximum hardness,which has been increased from H to 3H and has the best UV resistance.The degree of discoloration changed from 5 to 2.When the content of chopped basalt fiber was 20 wt.%,The wear resistance was the best,which increased by 38%,and the bending strength was 83 MPa,which was 62.7 higher than that of pure scribe paint 51 MPa.%.When the addition amount of chopped basalt fiber with a diameter of 10μm is 20 wt.%,The impact resistance of the fiber with an aspect ratio of 8 to 10 increases the composite coating the most,and the hardness is also the largest,from H to 4H,bending The strength is 98 MPa,which is 92.1%higher than 51 MPa of pure scribing paint.It has the best UV aging resistance,and the degree of discoloration is 0,but the aspect ratio of chopped basalt fiber is abrasion resistance to acrylic resin scribing paint.Has little effect.2.Add different contents(0 wt.%,5 wt.%,10 wt.%,15 wt.%,20 wt.%,30 wt.%)To the epoxy resin base,and the size is 1~100 μm Chopped basalt fiber(10 μm in diameter),the fiber can be well dispersed in the matrix resin without agglomeration.The addition of chopped basalt fibers can significantly affect the performance of composite coatings.When the chopped basalt fiber with a diameter of 10 μm and an aspect ratio of 2 to 4 is 30 wt.%,The hardness of the composite coating is the largest,reaching 20.1 HV,the tensile properties are the best,the tensile strength is 63 MPa,and the resistance The abrasive performance is the best,and the wear resistance is increased by 75%compared to the pure epoxy coating.Electrochemical impedance test and neutral salt spray test show that adding a certain amount of chopped basalt fiber helps to improve the corrosion resistance.When the chopped basalt fiber has a length to diameter ratio of 2~4,the content of chopped basalt fiber is 30 wt.%At the same time,the composite coating has the best corrosion resistance.The composite coating prepared by adding chopped basalt fibers with an aspect ratio of 0.1 to 10,as the aspect ratio decreases,the tensile properties of the composite coating gradually decrease.When the aspect ratio of chopped basalt fiber is in the range of 2~10,the wear resistance of the composite coating is equivalent,but compared with pure epoxy resin,the wear resistance is improved by about 75%.When the aspect ratio is 0.1~1,the wear resistance of the composite coating was improved by 37%compared to pure epoxy resin.The electrochemical impedance test showed that the chopped basalt fiber with 30 wt.%Aspect ratio of 2~4 had the largest impedance arc and relatively good corrosion resistance.3.Add different contents(0 wt.%,5 wt.%,10 wt.%,15 wt.%,20 wt.%,30 wt.%)to the polyimide resin base,and the size is 1~100 μm chopped basalt fiber(10 μm in diameter),the fiber can be well dispersed in the matrix resin without agglomeration.The content gradient and aspect ratio gradient of chopped basalt fibers have limited effects on the properties of polyimide.When the chopped basalt fiber with a diameter of 10 μm and an aspect ratio of 2 to 4 is 30 wt.%,The hardness of the composite coating is the largest,reaching 23.1 HB.A diameter of 10 μm is added,and the aspect ratio is 2 to 4,the chopped basalt fiber-reinforced polyimide composite coating has better impact resistance and corrosion resistance than pure polyimide,but the content of chopped basalt has a limited impact on impact resistance and corrosion resistance.The abrasion resistance of pure polyimide coating and the addition of chopped basalt fiber-reinforced polyimide composite coating with a diameter of 10 and an aspect ratio of 2 to 4 were compared.The results showed that pure polyimide the wear resistance of amine coatings is similar to that of reinforced composite coatings.The composite coating prepared by adding chopped basalt fibers with an aspect ratio of 0.1 to 8 will gradually increase the hardness of the composite coating as the aspect ratio decreases.When the aspect ratio of chopped basalt fibers is in the range of 0.1 to 10,the impact resistance and wear resistance of the composite coating are equivalent.
