The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the foundation of human survival and development is nature, and the classification of household waste is an important measure to protect the environment and protect our homes. At the same time,it is also a powerful guarantee for reducing pollution and emissions, and improving the living environment. With the rapid economic development in rural areas, the generation of a large amount of non degradable household waste has had a serious impact on the production and daily life of rural residents, which has also become a key factor affecting the economic development of rural areas in China. So,how to effectively solve the problem of garbage classification in rural areas has become an urgent task.At present,Chinese farmers have gradually realized the importance of rural environmental protection, and their attitudes towards household waste classification are also undergoing positive changes. However, there is a lack of rural residents who can correctly and effectively implement the behavior of household waste classification in their daily lives. At the same time, the government’s treatment of household waste for rural residents is still in the early stage, and there are still many problems in the treatment methods of household waste for rural residents and the promotion and education of environmental protection. In this context, this article selects 45 rural residents in Heze City,Shandong Province as the research object for empirical analysis.Through structural equation modeling,it analyzes the impact of rural residents’ attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, situational factors, and their understanding of household waste classification on their willingness and behavior to classify household waste. Finally, based on the model results, suggestions are proposed to promote the willingness and behavior of rural residents to classify household waste, which will have a positive impact on the garbage classification of rural residents in Heze City. The final research results show that the factors that have a positive impact on the willingness of rural residents to classify household waste are behavioral attitude, perceived behavioral control, cognition of household waste classification, and situational factors. The degree of influence of each variable is different, and the situational factors of rural residents’ household waste classification have the strongest impact on their willingness to classify. It is subjective norms that have a negative impact on the willingness of rural residents to classify domestic waste, and situational factors and perceived behavior control that have a negative impact on the classification behavior. At the same time, the willingness of rural residents to classify garbage has a positive impact on the classification behavior, which also proves the mesomeric effect of the willingness to classify garbage. |
