| The construction dust generated from construction and road construction, including ground covered dust and floating dust,is one of the important factors causing environmental pollution and atmospheric haze;In addition, dust has also brought many adverse effects to people’s production and life, making it urgent to control construction dust.In recent years, many measures have been taken to prevent and control construction dust, but there are certain limitations. Therefore, based on the analysis of dust suppression mechanism of foam, the control technology of covered foam is used to effectively control ground dust and fugitive dust.In this paper, theoretical analysis, experimental verification and other methods are used to design and develop a foam dust suppressor, and its related performance is studied. The specific conclusions and results are as follows:(1)By combining K12 A,PVA,and glycerol, and using foaming ability, foam stability, surface tension,p H value, wettability, and moisture content as measurement indicators, the final selected formula was 1% K12 A,1.5g/L PVA,and 0.6% glycerol, and environmental protection analysis was conducted.(2)Exploring the influence of factors such as different wind speeds, foam mesh layers, and liquid supply on foaming performance. The foaming weight, foam stacking height and foam spraying distance increased with the increase of wind speed, and the wind speed of17-19 m/s was relatively optimal; The foaming weight, foam stacking height and foam spraying all increased with the increase of liquid supply at first, and when the liquid supply reached 90ml/min,it showed a downward trend.Through experiments,it was found that the optimal parameters of the dust suppressor structure were 2-layer foam mesh, liquid supply90ml/min,and wind speed 19m/s.(3)The higher the dust moisture content, the slower the foam burst rate, the better the stability, and the longer the dust suppression time; After the foam is covered with dust for many times, the stability of its foam is enhanced. With the increase of foam coverage times, the average loss rate of foam decreases;Different environmental temperatures have different effects on foam. The stability of foam decreases with the increase of temperature. The higher the temperature is,the faster the foam bursts; The influence of ground dust thickness on foam is fitted as a linear relationship. The thicker the dust is,the faster the foam bursts.(4)Through experimental research on high-temperature evaporation resistance,it was found that the water loss rate of dust rapidly increases with time in the early stage; At the same time, the water loss rate of the dust sample sprayed with water is higher than that of the dust sample sprayed with foam foaming liquid. The moisture content of the dust sample sprayed with foam foaming liquid after about 8h is about 6.09%,which still has a certain dust suppression effect.Through the experimental study of wind erosion resistance, the average mass loss rate and mass difference increase with the increase of wind speed under the same conditions, and the dust suppression efficiency decreases with the increase of wind speed. When the wind speed reaches 20m/s,the dust suppression efficiency of spraying foam dust samples is still higher than 96%.Through on-site simulation dust suppression experiments, the concentration of suspended particles before dust suppression was first tested to be8.47mg/m~3,Secondly,the concentration of suspended particles covered with foam is4.62mg/m~3,Its dust reduction efficiency is 45.45%,which can effectively suppress dust and has a certain dust suppression effect. In conclusion, this paper verifies that the covered foam has good dust control effect through the combination of theory and experiment, and this study provides theoretical basis and direction for building ground dust control. |
