| In the context of comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization,the "three rural issues" have become the top priority.Relying on the local characteristic industries,the special town has become an effective way to promote industrial integration,promote the development of new urbanization and build a beautiful countryside,which has opened up a new path to realize rural revitalization and become an important grasp of rural revitalization in the new era.With the release of the list of special towns by the Ministry of Housing and Construction,ethnic handicraft industry,as the core industry of special towns,has been developed rapidly and inevitably has a great impact on the local economy,social culture and environment.However,there are still problems such as insufficient brand cultivation,lagging industry standard construction,poor business environment,serious homogenization of products and lack of talents in the process of core industries influencing the development of special towns.Therefore,this paper studies how the development of ethnic handicraft industry affects the economy,social culture and environment of a small town from the perspective of residents’ perceptions,which is important for promoting residents’ participation and the sustainable development of ethnic handicraft industry.This paper investigates and analyzes how the development of ethnic handicraft industry affects the economy,socio-culture and environment of a characteristic town and how the development of ethnic handicraft industry affects the economy,socio-culture and environment of a characteristic town from the perspective of residents’ perceptions of the impact of ethnic handicraft industry in a characteristic town through extensive search and collation of relevant theories,based on which the case study method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics are used to establish models and hypotheses based on social exchange theory and cognitive-emotional-intention theory.The relationship between residents’ perceptions and their participation in ethnic handicraft industry.The perceived impact of ethnic handicraft industry contains three dimensions: economic impact perception,socio-cultural perception and environmental perception,which are set as positive and negative perceptions,and the questionnaire is collected and empirically analyzed by using structural equation modeling with Jedxiu town in Tibet as a case site.The study found that:(1)Residents’ positive economic impact perceptions significantly and positively influence residents’ attitudes toward the development of ethnic handicrafts;residents’ negative economic impact perceptions significantly and negatively influence residents’ attitudes toward the development of ethnic handicrafts.(2)The perception of positive socio-cultural influence of residents significantly affects the attitude of residents towards the development of ethnic handicrafts;the perception of negative socio-cultural influence of residents significantly affects the attitude of residents towards the development of ethnic handicrafts.(3)The perceived positive environmental impact of residents’ ethnic handicraft industry has no significant effect on the willingness to participate;the perceived negative environmental impact of residents’ ethnic handicraft industry has a significant negative effect on residents’ willingness to participate.(4)residents’ positive impact perceptions have a direct and significant relationship with residents’ willingness to participate;residents’ negative economic perceptions of ethnic handicrafts and negative social and cultural perceptions have a negative and significant relationship with residents’ willingness to participate;residents’ negative environmental perceptions have no significant relationship with willingness to participate.Based on the above findings,the article gives suggestions from three aspects: economic,social and cultural,and environmental.From the economic aspect,the government should strengthen the top-level design and do a good job in guiding and supporting;enterprises should improve the management level and product structure;multi-channel efforts should be made to strengthen talent training.From the social and cultural aspects,traditional industries should be promoted and strengthened,as well as technical guidance and training systems should be standardized.From the environmental aspect,it is necessary to improve infrastructure construction and do a good job in pollution prevention and publicity. |
