Simulation Training System For Confined Space Operation In Atmospheric Tank Field

Confined space operations are extremely prone to accidents such as poisoning,suffocation or explosion due to toxic and hazardous substances or oxygen deficiency caused by restrictions on entry and exit and poor ventilation,posing a great threat to the physical health and life safety of entering personnel.Secondly,according to the study of relevant accident cases,illegal operations and blind rescue have caused frequent accidents of group poisoning,suffocation and casualties,with a high degree of harm.Therefore,it is important to provide safety training for the whole process of confined space operations.Traditional confined space operation safety training adopts the methods of theoretical teaching and risk-free simulation.Considering its disadvantages such as low intuition,weak immersion and average training effect,this paper takes the atmospheric pressure tank area of a refining enterprise as the background.Combined with virtual reality technology,through the analysis of the high-risk characteristics of confined space operations and the actual needs of operation safety training,taking typical accident cases as the blueprint,the training is designed from the aspects of operation process,accident consequences,multi-role options,collaborative operation,assessment scores and basic simulation functions.The key technologies required to achieve the functions are studied.Finally,this system uses the Unity3 D engine to build scenes and C#programming to design interactive operations.It has built three types of confined space operation scenes and developed a tank area confined space operation full-process training and assessment system based on the HTC VIVE device.The system has achieved the core simulation functions of operation process simulation,two-person collaborative simulation,accident consequence simulation and assessment scoring,as well as basic simulation functions such as user information management and basic human-computer interaction,providing an immersive,practical and safe training method for atmospheric pressure tank area confined space operation safety training.
