The capitalist industrial revolution undoubtedly promoted the rapid prosperity of the capitalist society, but at the same time,it also led to the increasing intensification of the inherent contradictions of the capitalist system, and the unjust phenomenon appeared in the enjoyment of workers’ ecological rights and the distribution of ecological resources among classes.Marx stood on the materialist standpoint of practice and grasped the ecological justice from the Angle of the relationship between man and nature and the development of social history, flashing a rich view of ecological justice.Marx borrowed from the ancient Greek view of order and harmonious justice, surpassed the Cicero view of natural justice in ancient Rome, criticized the justice view of natural law in the Middle Ages, subjugates the German classical philosophy of freedom and justice, and formed an ecological justice view in line with the needs of The Times. It went through three stages of embryonic exploration, development and deepening. It reveals that the realization of ecological justice needs to grasp the essential relationship between subject and object, criticize the capitalist private ownership, and reform the capitalist system, which contains the four basic characteristics of equality, human nature,quasi-subjectivity and fairness.Taking the time dimension as the vertical axis, the inheritance and development of Marxist ecological justice concept in China has gone through four periods, which has far-reaching contemporary significance. In terms of theoretical significance,Marx’s view of ecological justice enriches the theory of sustainable development, deepens the theory of ecological value and promotes the practice theory of ecological justice. From the perspective of practical significance,Marx’s ecological justice concept provides guidance for the practice of human ecological civilization, the coordinated development of global ecological justice and the realization of ecological justice values.
