Research On The Current Situation And Optimization Countermeasures Of Rural Toilet Improvement In S Town,H County Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

Since the rural revitalization strategy was clearly proposed at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,improving the quality of rural sanitation and environment has gradually become a major issue in rural revitalization.In this process,the "toilet revolution" is crucial for improving the rural living environment.It can greatly improve the quality of life of farmers,make up for the shortcomings of living environment improvement,and effectively improve the rural ecology and traditional agricultural production environment,It is of great significance in promoting rural civilization construction and accelerating the modernization process of agriculture and rural areas to become a necessary supplement in the field of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers,and to continue promoting rural revitalization during the 14 th Five Year Plan period.This study is based on an on-site investigation of eight villages in S Town,H County.Through a combination of questionnaire surveys,random interviews,and online surveys such as telephone and We Chat,relevant theories such as collaborative governance,planned behavior,and public governance are applied to explore the implementation status,achievements,villagers’ awareness,willingness to participate,and satisfaction with the rural toilet improvement project in S Town,H County under the background of rural revitalization,Analyze and summarize the difficulties in the toilet renovation work in S town and analyze the causes,in order to provide reference and suggestions for its future development.Through actual research on the promotion of rural toilet renovation in S town,it was found that good progress has been made in the work of rural toilet renovation in S town,but there are still many problems,manifested as: low participation of villagers and lack of enthusiasm for toilet renovation;Difficulty in raising funds for toilet renovation;The overall coordination mechanism between various departments is not sound enough;The technical support for toilet improvement is weak and the model is constrained;Based on the actual situation in the local area,the following countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to promote the work of rural toilet improvement in S town: strengthen government responsibilities,relevant departments should play their guiding role,and play their leading role in toilet improvement control;Pay attention to publicity and demonstration,enhance farmers’ awareness,unify their thinking,fully leverage the dominant position of villagers,and stimulate the endogenous motivation to participate in the renovation;To solve the problem of orderly market participation,open up financing channels,introduce social capital,and leverage the reserve power of market entities;Establish supporting facilities and management and protection mechanism,optimize the long-term management and protected mode of the rural toilet reconstruction,make the household toilet reconstruction sustainable,solidify the achievements of the toilet reconstruction,so as to improve the rural living environment through the rural toilet reconstruction project,boost the implementation of rural revitalization,and improve the sense of gain and happiness of rural residents.
