Quality Evaluation And Application Research Of Coal Listed Companies

As China’s economy enters the stage of high-quality development,the quality of listed companies has become the core of the high-quality development of the real economy and the stock market.The Central Economic Work Conference in 2018 emphasized the quality of listed companies once again,indicating the high importance attached by the central government to this issue.However,there is no unified standard for the understanding of the quality of listed companies in the industry,and the enthusiasm for improving the quality of listed companies is insufficient,with an unstable market foundation and a lack of motivation and decision-making basis for long-term capital entering the market.This thesis uses the VOSviewer visualization analysis method to review the literature on the quality evaluation of listed companies.Based on this,closely combining the characteristics of listed companies in the coal industry and drawing on the theories of ESG,Balanced Scorecard,and Value Creation theory,this thesis constructs an 18-indicator system for evaluating the quality of listed companies in the coal industry from four dimensions: finance,customers,internal processes,and learning and growth.By using the entropy weight method,it constructs a quality evaluation model for listed companies in the coal industry,finding that the four dimensions’ impact on company quality is,from high to low,internal processes,finance,customers,and learning and growth.Subsequently,the thesis analyzes the development quality of HBKY using the constructed quality evaluation index system for listed companies in the coal industry and conducts benchmarking analysis with China Shenhua,which has the highest development quality in the model.It is found that there is a certain gap between HBKY and China Shenhua in terms of operating cash flow ratio,million-ton death rate,emission standard compliance rate,customer loyalty,and R&D investment ratio.Finally,based on the research conclusions,the thesis puts forward relevant suggestions on improving the quality evaluation system of listed companies in the coal industry,improving the quality of HBKY listed companies,and how enterprises can conduct self-evaluation.The thesis has certain breakthroughs and innovations in aspects such as the quality evaluation index system and evaluation methods of listed companies in the coal industry,which can provide a basis for the quality improvement of listed companies in the coal industry and the quality evaluation of HBKY listed companies.
