Promoting industrial ecology and greening is not only the most basic requirement of sustainable development, but also the focus of high-quality economic development. It is of great significance to accelerate the deep integration of "dual transformation" in order to promote the upgrading of industry transformation and optimize resource allocation. After the reform and opening up,our country industrialization process deepens unceasingly, has the tremendous impetus function to the economic growth. However, with the increasing industrialization and urbanization in China, the demand for natural resources in China is increasing day by day.The traditional "Three Highs’ ’ type of extensive economic growth can no longer meet the growing demand for social and economic development. With the development of green transformation and sustainable development strategy in China, the impact of industrial economic growth on ecological environment has also attracted more and more attention. Therefore,in the process of the development of industrial economy,we need to pay more attention to the industrial ecological environment. At present, industrial eco-efficiency is a proxy variable for the integrated consideration of industrial economic development and eco-environmental protection. It has been accepted by many people, but few scholars have studied it in depth from the perspective of the eight integrated economic zones. Therefore,it is very important to focus on China’s regional industrial eco-efficiency assessment for the realization of the economy,to follow the path of green growth, and to achieve harmonious and sustainable development of resources and environment. This paper studies from the following aspects.First,we selected data from 30provinces(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan, and Tibet)from 2011 to 2021,and used the Superefficient SBM model to estimate industrial eco-efficiency.Secondly,the spatial and temporal characteristics of industrial eco-efficiency in eight integrated economic zones are investigated by GIS system. Then, the influence factors of China’s industrial eco-efficiency are explored by using the systematic GMM model. Finally, this paper summarizes the above contents and puts forward some suggestions. The results show that:(1)China’s overall industrial eco-efficiency trend can be divided into three phases during the study period: plateau(2011-2014),trough(2015-2017),and volatility(2018-2021).(2)China’s industrial eco-efficiency coastal integrated economic zones are higher than inland integrated economic zones, and as a whole they show a stepwise evolution from southeast to northwest, with significant spatial agglomeration and the characteristics of "regional blocks."(3)As a whole, the level of economic development, industrial structure and scientific and technological level has a significant positive impact on total factor productivity, while environmental regulations and openness have a significant negative impact on it,and no other factors have a significant impact. From the perspective of the integrated economic zone, the effect of economic development on the Northeast economic zone and the Southwest economic zone is opposite.Industrial structure plays a significant role in promoting industrial ecological efficiency in the northeast, middle reaches of the Yangtze River and middle reaches of the Yellow River.Urban and rural structure inhibits the growth of industrial eco-efficiency in the northern and eastern coastal economic zones; The influence of scientific and technological level on industrial eco-efficiency also varies in different regions.Opening up to the outside world will promote the growth of urban industrial eco-efficiency in Greater Southwest China and inhibit the growth of the southern coastal areas.Besides the cities of the south coast and the greater southwest, the environmental regulation has a significant negative influence on the cities of other regions.
