Research On Innovative Application Of Flight Jacket Elements In Modern Clothing Design

The flight jacket belongs to the Air Force uniform,originated in the First World War,is to meet the flying needs of pilots,after the development and evolution,became a boom in the fashion industry.First of all,flight jacket clothing as one of the classic style clothing,has undergone long-term evolution and development,its research value is self-evident,at this stage,flight jacket in the fashion trend continues to inject new vitality,major runways and fashion weeks,Paris street shooting,high-end clothing brand new release,e-commerce sales can see that flight jacket in recent years has attracted much attention and love.This paper takes the design elements of flight jackets as the research object,explores the innovative design application of flight jackets in modern clothing,first through the collection and review of literature and books,combs and analyzes the development traceability and evolution of flight jackets,and sorts out 12 classic flight jackets from 1927 to 1972,with the appearance of the B-10 flight jacket in 1943 as the time node.Divided into 1927-1943leather-based flight jackets and 1943-1972 non-leather mainly flight jackets,through analysis,it is concluded that the classic leather flight jacket is mainly H-shaped in silhouette,the color is mainly cold color,more influenced by dyeing technology,warm and cold resistance,and the style is mainly tough;The classic non-leather flight jacket has an O-shaped silhouette and warm colors,which is highly sporty.Secondly,the representative elements of the classic flight jacket are analyzed,and the design elements of the flight jacket are refined and analyzed,so as to pave the way for later innovative applications.Collect and sort out the styles of flight jackets from leisure brands,outdoor sports brands,luxury brands,fashion brands,and four styles of brands from 2013 to 2023,and analyze the number and popularity of its brand’s flight jacket design,including 6 brands of casual style,5 brands of outdoor sports style,5fashion brands,5 luxury brands,a total of 21 brands,1027 product pictures,and establish a database.Based on the analysis and induction of the elements of the flight jacket in the early stage,as well as the conceptual understanding of the inheritance application and innovative application,the image is divided into two categories through the method of perceptual cognition and rational cognition,one is the sample of the classic inheritance application,the other is the sample of the innovative deduction application,the two types of innovative applications are respectively analyzed from the silhouette,color,fabric,and details,and the conclusion through the data is that the innovative interpretation of the flight jacket element occupies the main part,and the O-type and H-type are the most in the modeling elements,and black in the color elements,green,navy blue is the most,in terms of material traditional fabrics are more used,different style brands for the application of design elements are different,through case analysis to conclude that the design method of innovative application of flight jacket elements has pioneering and innovative characteristics,for the later design experiment and graduation design practice to provide design ideas and innovative application methods.Finally,through the combination of two experimental summaries and theoretical research,the application methods of inheriting classics and innovative deductions are adhered to to carry out innovative design and summarize design experience.
