Design Practice Of Protective Clothing For Construction Workers In High-altitude Working Environment

The construction industry has the outstanding characteristics of long construction period,difficult operation coefficient and high labor intensity,and there are many casualties and accidents in the construction process.According to the statistical analysis of relevant departments,among all industrial sectors,the construction industry has become the most dangerous industrial sector after the mining industry,and the safety protection of construction workers cannot be ignored.At present,there is little research on protective clothing designed for construction workers in China.Therefore,this project aims to develop design practices by taking protective clothing for construction workers in high-altitude working environments.This project mainly combines the literature reading method,questionnaire research method and field observation method to study and discuss the development status and operation characteristics of construction workers,the relationship between the design factors of protective clothing and the working environment at height,and the design elements of protective clothing,and finally complete the design practice.Through reviewing literature,the development status,characteristics of aerial work and types of construction workers are understood;Through the combination of questionnaire and field observation,the demand of construction workers for protective clothing was understood,the operating action characteristics of the main types of work were analyzed,and the problems existing in the attire of workers in the current high-altitude working environment were analyzed.Organize and summarize the design elements of construction workers’ protective clothing,and design practice construction workers’ protective clothing based on design standards and design principles.It is expected that through this project,we can contribute to the safety protection of construction workers and provide reference for the design of subsequent construction workers’ protective clothing.
