Research On Intelligent Garbage Recycling Bin And Its Control System

With the rapid development of society,people’s living standards continue to improve,and the amount of garbage generated every day is also increasing.Most waste is currently disposed of by landfill or incineration,and many of these recyclable resources are wasted.In order to effectively recycle waste,since 2019,China has carried out waste recycling and reuse work in various places.However,the work has exposed many problems in the implementation process,such as the short duration of the activity,the lack of classification knowledge of the citizens,and even the reluctance of the citizens to classify the garbage.Because of the above problems,this paper designs an intelligent garbage recycling bin and control system based on mechanical transmission,embedded systems,and the Internet of Things.Based on studying the functional requirements of the intelligent recyclable bin,considering the structure of the recycling bin and the location of each module,the mechanical structure scheme of the intelligent garbage recycling bin was determined,including the overall structure size,the design of the opening and closing door mechanism,the design of the anti-pinch mechanism,the design of the weighing structure,etc.Completed the hardware selection of the control system,including the central controller,power module,weighing detection module,display module,motor control module,voice prompt module,data transmission module,solar panel and battery backup power module;The software of the intelligent recycling bin control system was designed,including weighing function,ranging function,light curtain sensor,smoke alarm,etc.,and the operating system based on Gizwits cloud background server was developed to realize the user information recognition of the intelligent recycling bin and the information and instruction interaction between the intelligent recycling bin and the background server;The results of the prototype test show that the intelligent garbage recycling bin system can realize the functions of touchless door opening,touchless garbage discharge,automatic weighing,garbage capacity selfinspection,safety protection,automatic alarm,etc.,and realize the dynamic monitoring of the recycling process.The prototype test results show that the preset function and control of the garbage recycling bin system are stable and reliable,and the design goal is achieved to meet the needs of garbage placement.
