| Sand production is a common phenomenon that has a particularly serious impact on oil and gas production.In the past,scholars’ research on sand production mostly focused on sandstone reservoirs,and less research on Sand-Conglomerate.Sandy conglomerate reservoirs are the main types of oil and gas reservoirs in the Junggar Basin,Xinjiang.Quantitative research on their sand production characteristics is of great engineering significance.In order to explore the sand production characteristics and influencing factors of Sand-Conglomerate,this paper obtained the mechanical properties of XXX SandConglomerate reservoir through indoor natural core experiments,and used numerical core simulation to explore the influence of gravel shape,size and content on the mechanical properties of Sand-Conglomerate.The thick-walled cylinder simulation method determines the sand production characteristics of Sand-Conglomerate with different gravel sizes and contents.Through the research,it is found that the longitudinal lithology of the SandConglomerate in the XXX reservoir is quite different,and the shape,size and content of the gravel in the rock have a great influence on the mechanical properties of the rock.The strength of the Sand-Conglomerate with regular gravel is higher,and the strength of the Sand-Conglomerate decreases with the increase of the size of the gravel and the increase of the volume of the gravel;the numerical simulation results of sand production show that the shear failure occurs inside the model,resulting in the production of sand grains;With the increase of gravel size and gravel content,the strength of the numerical model gradually decreases;the numerical model containing gravel tends to produce overall failure,and it is easier to form a fracture network inside,forming a channel for sand flow.Based on the above research,a sand production prediction software was developed,which has certain reference significance for the prediction of sand production pressure difference in Sand-Conglomerate reservoirs. |
