| The Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China with six other departments issued the Implementation Plan for the Synergy of Carbon Reduction and Pollution Reduction on June 13,2022.It emphasized the promotion of the synergy of carbon reduction and pollution reduction in the field of water pollution prevention.In this plan,the synergy of carbon reduction and pollution reduction would be significantly improved to help achieving the target of peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030.Therefore,it was important to improve the level of synergy that exploring specific implementation plans for reducing pollution and carbon in the process of water pollution prevention and control.Firstly,relevant data were collected along the river,such as geographic information,meteorological data,pollution load data and so on.The river was divided into spatial component“segment”which have volume,environmental and constituent concentrations.Then,one-dimensional simulation of water quality indexes(COD,BOD,NH3-N and TP)of Beitang Drainage River in Tianjin City was carried out by using Water Quality Analysis and Simulation Program(WASP).With the help of Water Resource Data Base Graph(WRDB Graph),the influence of pollution load on water quality safety was analyzed under the requirements of the first level discharge standard of Tianjin municipal local standard Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard(DB12/356-2018).Secondly,the input pollution source load was reduced based on WASP simulation results and water quality standards.Considering the continuity of each river segment,the load reduction solutions of each segment were provided based on the Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water(GB3838-2002)classⅣand classⅤ.Then,combined with the Total Maximum Daily Load(TMDL)plan,the input load distribution scheme of each pollution source is provided,and the load management strategies are put forward combined with the actual situation of the pollution input.Finally,based on the load management strategies,the impact on carbon emissions of load reduction is analyzed in terms of wastewater reuse,clean production,relocation and shutdown of enterprises for point sources.The results show that the carbon emissions can be reduced comprehensively by carrying out pollution load reduction measures,which provides a theoretical basis for the collaborative implementation of pollution load reduction and carbon emission reduction in sewage rivers. |
