| In response to rising global temperatures and environmental degradation,China has proposed "Dual Carbon"(Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutral goals)target by 2020.As the only industrial sector capable of sequestering carbon emissions and increasing carbon sinks, the agricultural system has the responsibility of helping the whole industry to achieve carbon neutrality.Low-carbon agriculture is not only about reducing carbon or increasing sinks to achieve net-zero emissions, but also pursuing an excellent interaction between agricultural economic growth and the environment. In order to coordinate the China’s agricultural environment with economy, and to promote the goal of high-quality development. This paper based on the theories of the ecological economy and sustainable development, selected data of31 provinces(cities)from 2005 to 2020 to calculate agricultural carbon emissions and agricultural carbon sinks with the methods of Emission Factor and Coefficients Conversion respectively, examined the coupling relationship between agricultural net carbon sink resources and agricultural economy in China by Decoupling Model, and finally used the LMDI method to achieve factor decomposition. The results of this study are as follows:(1)The carbon environment of the agricultural system in China is well, reflecting in the effective reduction of agricultural carbon emissions and the continuous expansion of agricultural carbon sinks.According to the calculated results, the agricultural net carbon sink resources increased continuously from 384.58 million tons to468.41 million tons during the research period, with an average growth rate of 11.23%.(2)The structure of carbon emission and carbon sink resources is obvious.Livestock farming is the main source of carbon emissions, followed by agricultural land use,and the finally is rice planting, with an emission quantity ratio of 5:3:2.Crop carbon sinks are abundant, but farmland and grassland carbon sinks are little because of the limited soil quality and land area.(3)The status of agricultural net carbon sink and agricultural economy is not ideal compared with the early stage of the study, and needs to be further improved. The relationship of national agricultural net carbon sink and agricultural economy is in a non-synchronous weak decoupling for most of the time.(4)The coupling of the main food-producing regions, the main food-marketing regions and the balanced food production and marketing regions all showed different degrees of decline year by year. However, when regarding the overall coupling situation, the balanced food production and marketing regions showed expansion and negative decoupling, and the remaining two regions manifested weakly decoupled.(5)In the factor analysis of the coupling, the agricultural industry structure and agricultural economic level have consistent driving coupling effects across the country and the three regions, while the agricultural population size shows an inhibiting effect, and the impacts of agricultural net carbon sink intensity are little different.Based on the above research results, this paper accordingly put forward some suggestions as following:(1)Optimize the layout of agricultural structure and promote the low-carbon development in agriculture.(2)Accelerate the regional layout of agricultural development, and gradually adjusting the rate of agricultural growth and the quality of development.(3)For areas with different characteristics, measures should be formulated according to the local conditions to improve the coupling state.(4)Promote eco-healthy farming technology, increase the national subsidy for recycling livestock manure waste, and vigorously promote carbon emission reduction in livestock farming.(5)Pay attention to the carbon sink function of crops, and at the same time improve the carbon fixation and sink enhancement capacity of farmland and grassland. |
