The main component of traditional nail polish is volatile solvent,which is harmful to human body.The main components of light curing nail varnish adhesive are light curing resin,active thinner and various auxiliaries.It is not volatile,has better gloss and longer service life,so the market prospect of light curing nail varnish adhesive is very broad.As the outermost layer of the three-layer system of nail varnish adhesive,the sealing layer of nail varnish adhesive plays a very important role.In recent years,the washless sealing layer is very popular in the market because it is very convenient to use.At present,there are still shortcomings such as unstable storage and large odor in the no-wash sealing layer of nail polish glue,and the market also puts forward higher requirements for its wear resistance and toughness,so it is of great significance to develop a higher-performance no-wash sealing layer of nail polish glue.In this paper,the effects of the types and contents of photocuring resins,photoinitiators and active thinners on the properties of nail varnish sealant were studied,and the formulation was optimized to prepare a nail varnish sealant with excellent properties.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The influence of photocured resin and active thinner on the performance of nail varnish sealant was studied.It was found that the selection of photocured resin and active thinner was closely related to the wear resistance and toughness of the photocured nail varnish sealant,but the two properties were difficult to be taken into account at the same time.Through comparative experimental study,it is found that the combination formula of 645 and HPMA can ensure the low odor while having better toughness and wear resistance,glossiness up to 147,and the properties of the two-component monomer with UV resin 1 are more balanced.(2)The effects of different photoinitiators on the properties of nail varnish sealant were investigated.It was found that the addition of photoinitiators MS-5102 and acetyl chloride could deepen the yellow degree of the cured nail varnish sealant,and photoinitiator 184 could not trigger the photopolymerization reaction of the resin under the light therapy lamp.Therefore,TPO with high initiation efficiency was selected for the formulation.It was the photoinitiator with the best comprehensive performance in the comparison experiment,and the addition amount was 3%.(3)Among the three optimization approaches selected,the formula of adding silicone resin has similar problems with that of adding carnauba wax.The components of silicon and wax powder,which can be used to improve the wear resistance,are not well soluble in the material body,which has a great impact on the gloss and brightness of the product while improving the wear resistance.The final selection of the experiment determined the UV resin 1 as the main resin,645 and HPMA combination as the active diluent,TPO as the photoinitiator,and a small amount of defoaming agent and leveling agent.By comparing the performance of the optimized formula with that of the commercially available high performance nail oil adhesive free wash sealing layer,it is found that the optimized formula is equivalent to the commercially available products in glossiness and clarity,and has great potential.Further optimization can be carried out on the basis of this formula in the future.
