Research On The Economic Benefits Of China Shenhua Environmental Protection Investment Based On Internal Value Chain

Enterprises ’ investment in environmental protection is an important driver to help China achieve the goal of ’ carbon peak and carbon neutrality ’ on schedule.However,due to the large amount of funds required for environmental protection investment,long R & D cycle and high risk,the economic benefits brought by environmental protection investment are not obvious,and the motivation of environmental protection investment is insufficient.Therefore,this paper analyzes the economic benefits of enterprise environmental protection investment,finds the balance point between environmental protection and enterprise profit maximization,so as to help enterprises make more rational environmental protection investment decisions.Based on the value chain theory,sustainable development theory,circular economy theory and social responsibility theory,this paper builds a theoretical analysis framework.Through the discussion of the macro policy environment and the development status of the coal industry,it is found that under the background of increasingly strict system and severe challenges faced by the industry,the transformation of China Shenhua to a green and clean model is urgent and necessary.According to the characteristics of China Shenhua ’s environmental protection investment,the status quo of environmental protection investment is fully explained from the dynamic perspective of the internal value chain,and through the four links of its value creation : ecological R & D investment-green procurement investment-clean production investment-green marketing investment,from the entire life cycle of the product to consider the economic benefits of corporate environmental protection investment,looking for the impact mechanism of corporate environmental protection investment economic benefits.According to the production process of the coal industry and the production and operation characteristics of China Shenhua,the economic benefit index system of enterprise environmental protection investment is constructed,including 4 criterion layers and 17 scheme layers.This paper uses the index system to make a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the economic benefits of China Shenhua ’s environmental protection investment from 2015 to 2021,analyzes the main problems and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The research shows that the investment in environmental protection of enterprises is to increase economic benefits and bring sustainable competitiveness to enterprises.Importantly,corporate environmental investment will affect economic efficiency by increasing market share and reducing various costs of enterprises.
