In recent years,the mixing pile,the jet grouting pile and the combined use of above has been employed to apply as a waterproof curtain for retaining and protecting for deep foundation excavation.Through the absorption and improvement of the domestic organizations and related departments for nearly forty years,the water stop curtain technology has been widely used in geotechnical engineering as a retaining wall and load bearing system.The construction method of Hydraulic Cutter Soil Cement Mixing Wall(HCSCMW)under mixing cement land has many advantages,such as unconventional method,high efficiency,low cost,energy saving and environmental protection.This method will quickly promote the construction level of the foundation pit in China,which is of great importance in the construction of China’s engineering.In the present paper,the HCSCMW engineering method is used as the research object to analyze the relevant fundamental technical problems,and the method is further applied to the actual project-the old sand change project.Through the study of the strength,deformation,mixing uniformity and pile length of the continuous wall under the cement soil,the construction quality of the HCSCMW method is surveyed.The results show that the HCSCMW method can meet the requirements of foundation pit support,and the safety and stability of foundation pit support can be guaranteed.The waterproof curtain produced by this method has good sealing performance and has formed an excellent structure with dual support system.The effective application of HCSCMW method can greatly improve the construction level of geotechnical engineering in China.The main reason is that the mud produced in the construction is less,the noise is low,the vibration frequency is obviously decreased,and the effect of the water stop is excellent.Obviously,with its exceptional economic and social benefits,the HCSCMW method will be widely used in geotechnical engineering and will continuously improve the construction level of the foundation pit in China.
