As a transitional control zone between air route and airport,the approach control area has complex spatial structure and flexible flight route,so the aircraft flight activities are characterized by high convergence and high density.With the continuous and steady growth of traffic flow,the current situation brings severe challenges to the control radar vectoring and control work.Scientific and reasonable implementation of radar vectoring is an effective guarantee for safety and order.Therefore,it is very necessary to deeply understand the vectoring methods and strategies of controller,so as to realize targeted and refined scientific control.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and from the perspective of actual work of ATC.This paper extracts the arrival track clusters in different directions based on the historical track data of approach control area,explores the operation rules and ATC instruction preferences that hidden in the actual track data,and refines the radar vectoring strategy of the controller.Firstly,the trajectory data is preprocessed,and the multi-dimensional characteristics of the trajectory are considered.The arrival trajectory clusters in different directions are accurately extracted by using the hybrid algorithm based on DBSCAN.Secondly,the combination relationship and sequence of heading,speed and altitude instruction parameters are studied based on different trajectory clusters to reveal the clues that reflecting the vectoring strategy.Finally,the neural network is used to study how the controller adopts the vectoring strategy according to the different traffic and environmental conditions,and the classification and recognition model of vectoring strategy is established.The mapping relationship between the input that Control situation and the output of the vectoring strategy is constructed and the results can provide support for the vectoring strategy formulation and spatial-temporal distribution optimization of the approach control area.This paper studies the radar vectoring strategy from the perspective of the actual work of the approach controller,and excavates the vectoring path and the release of the ATC instructions base on the space operation level.The research results of this paper further quantify the pattern and process of radar vectoring.By exploring and refining the control vectoring strategy,i.e.ATC instruction set and reference trajectory,it is convenient for the controller to use the corresponding vectoring strategy through the objective judgment of the Control situation,and assist the controller to make the vectoring plan,which can provide reference for scientific control.
