In our country,the airport pavement often suffers structural damage before reaching the design life,which has an impact on the operation safety of the airport,and the structural overhaul of the pavement will lead to problems such as airport grounding,resulting in the loss of economic and social benefits.Therefore,improving the service life of airport pavement is not only the actual demand of the airport,but also the key goal of the research.Based on the concept of long-life design,this paper studies two new types of asphalt pavement structure combination,namely flexible base long-life asphalt pavement and composite base long-life asphalt pavement,and uses ABAQUS finite element software to analyze the relationship between pavement structure layer parameters and pavement structure life.Finally,the structural model is verified by CC7 full-scale test conducted by napft.This paper provides some suggestions for the structural design of airport asphalt pavement based on improving service life.The main research contents and results are as follows.1.According to the design concept of long life and the existing research,the structural damage mode,design index and structural characteristics of the two new asphalt pavements are analyzed.The common characteristics are that the anti fatigue performance of the pavements is improved.The structural damage of the pavements is concentrated on the surface layer.When the surface layer is damaged,only the surface layer needs to be milled and re paved,which reduces the overhaul of the pavement base structure and prolongs the service life Its service life is prolonged.2.The mechanical response of two kinds of new asphalt pavement under aircraft load is analyzed by ABAQUS finite element software,and the influence law of structural layer parameters on mechanical response is analyzed.The pavement structure life is calculated by their respective fatigue prediction models,and the influence law of structural layer parameters on pavement structure life is further obtained.The results show that the influence degree of structural layer parameters on pavement structure life is different.Considering comprehensively,it is considered that pavement structure life should be improved from three aspects: surface layer thickness,base layer thickness and soil foundation modulus.3.Based on the data of CC7 full-scale test,the finite element model is verified,and the results of CC7 full-scale test show that the asphalt pavement with surface thickness above30 cm performs well in both simulation calculation and actual test,and it is very effective to improve the surface thickness to improve its service life.
