In recent years,air pollution in some Chinese cities has become increasingly serious.After the implementation of the new energy policy,China has put forward higher requirements for carbon emissions.Under this situation,the development speed of the new energy vehicle industry is gradually accelerating.Automobile enterprises should take advantage of this good opportunity to enhance their competitive strength through research and development and production of new energy vehicles.In order to promote the development of the industry,the relevant departments formulated and implemented a number of incentive policies.In the process of development,Chinese automobile enterprises are facing the huge impact brought by foreign automobile enterprises,which leads to their survival and development space is challenged.In the development of new energy vehicles,car companies must combine the reality to optimize their competitive strategies.This paper takes BYD as the research object,discusses and analyzes its competitive strategies,and puts forward scientific strategies to help such car companies enhance their competitive strength and achieve development goals.After discussing the competitive strategy and role of BYD,this research topic introduces relevant researches in China and other countries to provide theoretical guidance for the research and analysis of BYD’s competitive strategy,and introduces the methods and scientific thinking applied in the research.PEST analysis is applied in the analysis of the competitive environment of pure electric vehicles,porter’s five Forces model is applied in the discussion of industrial competition structure,and the situation of competitors is analyzed.Introduce the internal environment of BYD,focusing on the company’s competitive strategy and the problems encountered in the development.In the analysis of the company’s strategic choice and other related issues,the use of a variety of methods to analyze its main strategic elements,in the analysis of the company’s competitive advantages,development defects in the application of SWOT analysis,in order to help the company to choose a scientific and effective competitive strategy.Various measures taken to implement the company’s strategy are discussed.The company mainly implements its competitive strategy in terms of product differences and technological differences.In order to ensure that the strategy plays a positive role,some safeguard measures need to be taken,mainly involving risk control,human resources,corporate culture and other contents.BYD occupies an important position in China’s automobile field.The company has been engaged in automobile production and sales for a long time.The discussion and analysis of the company’s competitive strategy can understand the company’s development strategy in the new period and under the new situation,and provide effective guidance for the company to optimize and adjust its competitive strategy.In recent years,BYD has been accelerating the pace of development of the new energy vehicle industry.The analysis of the company’s competitive strategy can provide effective reference for similar enterprises to formulate and implement competitive strategies.At present,the internal and external environment of the automobile industry is gradually changing,the government frequently adjusts the subsidy policy,and the production technology upgrading speed is accelerated.In this context,ONLY by constantly optimizing and improving the competitive strategy can BYD break out of adversity and achieve healthy and rapid development.
