Research On Female Safety Product Design From The Perspective Of Service Design

Security is the most basic guarantee for people’s survival in society.Women’s safety has always been a social issue,but also a worldwide issue.With the progress of society and the development of education,more and more women are receiving education and the level of knowledge is improved;With the improvement of the national legal system,the social status of women has been greatly improved compared with before.However,because women’s physiology is different from men’s,women are still at a disadvantage in terms of safety,and safety accidents occur frequently,which undoubtedly rings the alarm bell for women to strengthen self-protection and shows the necessity and importance of strengthening women’s safety.Taking women’s safety issues as the research object,the project analyzes the existing women’s safety issues from the perspective of service design,finds design opportunities through research tools,proposes practical design goals,and designs women’s safety products.The project conducts background research from the perspectives of women’s safety and service design,clarifies the purpose and significance of the project research,summarizes the research status of service design theory and women’s safety issues at home and abroad,constructs the framework of the paper,and lays the foundation for subsequent design practice.In the analysis stage,the three major elements of service design theory are used to analyze women’s safety issues,summarize the relationships and shortcomings,and look for opportunities for women’s safety issue design.In the design practice stage,through questionnaires and user interviews,the existing women’s safety products are analyzed and summarized,the design principles and design goals are proposed,and the design practice is completed.In order to make the product meet the real needs of users to the greatest extent,effectively solve women’s safety problems and improve user experience,verify the effectiveness of the final product through usability testing,and facilitate subsequent optimization of the design,effectively solve female safety problems,improve user experience,improve the insufficient touchpoints in the original service,and provide solutions for women,the core stakeholders in the service.Under the guidance of service design theory,the project puts forward design points,combines the analysis of user needs and puts forward the design principles of practicality,aesthetics and simplicity,designs and completes the design of women’s safety self-protection hardware products and mobile APP design,realizes the direct communication between hardware products and software service platforms,contacts different stakeholders,and realizes opportunity point design.It provides reference and thinking on the research and development of women’s product design in safety scenarios,which further proves the effectiveness and feasibility of using service design theory for women’s safety product design.
