Solid state vibratory gyroscope is a key component for carrier attitude measurement and navigation guidance.It has all inertial qualities.Compared with traditional mechanical rotor gyroscope and optical gyroscope,solid-state vibratory gyroscope has the advantages of small volume,low cost and high reliability,so it has been widely concerned.At present,the guided projectile has more stringent requirements on the volume,accuracy and overload performance of solid-state vibratory gyroscope,but the existing solid-state vibratory gyroscope can not take into account the above performance.Therefore,in order to meet the needs of guided shells for gyroscopes with small volume,high precision and high overload resistance,it is urgent to develop an All-metal Solid-state Vibrating Gyro based on the existing solid-state vibratory gyroscope.As the core component of the gyroscope,the characteristics of the vibrator directly affect the performance of the gyroscope.Therefore,a miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator is designed in this paper,and its characteristics are studied to realize the high quality factor and high overload resistance of the vibrator under the constraint of small volume,which lays a foundation for the development of All-metal Solid-state Vibrating Gyro.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper puts forward the research idea of vibrator characteristics,designs a miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator,analyzes and studies its working principle,establishes the vibrator dynamic model based on the research of the vibration characteristics of the bell shaped gyro metal vibrator,obtains the natural frequency and precession factor of the vibrator,and forms the theoretical basis for the Research of the characteristics of the micro hemispherical metal vibrator.(2)The effects of material parameters and structural parameters on the natural frequency and modal spacing frequency of the vibrator are analyzed,and the relationship between structural parameters and temperature on the quality factor of the vibrator is established.The overload characteristics of miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator are studied,and the structure of the vibrator is optimized based on multi structure parameters.The electromechanical coupling characteristics of miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator are studied.Based on the electromechanical coupling model,the effects of excitation parameters and electrode parameters on the vibration characteristics of the vibrator are obtained.The volume of miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator is Φ 10 mm × 7mm.Through simulation,under the conditions of vacuum and normal temperature,the secondorder natural frequency is 13539 Hz,the modal interval frequency is 9228 Hz and the quality factor is 58860.It can withstand the axial overload impact of 45000 g at most,meeting various design goals.(3)Through the precision forming technology,the miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator is processed.Under the laboratory atmospheric environment and normal temperature,the natural frequency,quality factor,overload impact and other characteristics of the vibrator are tested.The second-order natural frequency is 14172 Hz,and the quality factor is 18847.It can withstand the axial overload impact of 20000 g and above(limited by the experimental conditions).Compared with the simulation results,the test results are within the simulation error range,The correctness of the research idea,theoretical analysis,simulation method and structural design of the miniature similar hemispherical metal vibrator is verified.
