Research On "Place" Of Meipo Ancient Village In Jiangxi Province Based On Architectural Phenomenology

With the accelerating development of China’s urbanization,the primary task of architecture has become a construction mode that adapts to the rapid pace of urban development.However,economic development has also brought the loss of regional characteristics of architecture,and people’s sense of identity for their homes is gradually losing.On the other hand,residents of traditional villages do not lose their sense of identity and belonging to their own villages due to the long-term development and change of villages,which also means that the spirit of place has a certain degree of permanence and stability.The construction of the spirit of place of traditional villages has important reference significance for the construction of current architectural sites.In jiangxi Meipo ancient village,an ancient village as the research object,an ancient village kept relatively complete the Ming and Qing dynasties buildings,has a complete system of space structure,through surveying and mapping,literature research,thus the field survey,oral history and other research methods,combining with the theory of architectural phenomenology and place spirit,study the characteristics of traditional architectural place spirit and form,It is of great significance for the inheritance and protection of jiangxi Gan-school ancient architecture to sum up the various factors affecting the spirit of the place.Architectural phenomenology study in this paper,we study on Meipo ancient village,and emphatically from place to study,through the whole village,village street space cognition,space cognition and traditional architecture of direction recognition to explore factors influencing the spatial position sense of place spirit,secondly by memory of architectural form,architectural prototype,regional structure identification and perceptual experience of exploration,It reveals the factors that produce the sense of place identity,and eventually forms the sense of belonging of place spirit,which becomes the collective memory of local people.Finally,through the above restoration of the spirit of Meipo ancient village,relevant influencing factors were extracted and used for reference from the two dimensions of space experience and form identity in the construction of the spirit of the current building site,in order to provide help for the construction of the current site.
