Study On The Aging Transformation Of Rural Courtyard Housing Space In Guanzhong Area

With the advancement of economic development and urban integration,a large number of young and middle-aged labor force in rural areas of China have poured into cities,the proportion of the elderly in the rural permanent population has increased,the number of empty nesters has increased,and the problem of rural aging has become increasingly prominent.Compared with the urban elderly care system,the existing residential infrastructure and public service supporting facilities in rural areas lag behind and lack,and do not match the living and medical needs of the elderly,which brings great inconvenience to the elderly in rural areas,and promotes the elderly’s demands for living space to be solved urgently.The aging transformation design of rural residential space is imperative.At present,most of the research on aging buildings in rural areas in China is the research on elderly care communities and public spaces,while the research on rural housing is mostly limited to its internal space layout,and there is a lack of aging research on courtyards,functional rooms and facilities.Moreover,the research results on theoretical strategies are relatively significant,but the research on the design methods of rural aging housing needs to be further excavated.Therefore,based on the existing literature and based on the ordinary rural residential buildings in Guanzhong area,this paper discusses the residential space use status and residential needs of the rural elderly in Guanzhong area,and selects typical cases in representative villages to study the aging transformation design of residential space from three aspects: courtyard residential space layout,functional space and other spaces.1 : Investigate and analyze the relevant characteristics of the rural elderly and summarize and analyze the relevant theories.Including the analysis of the psychological characteristics,physiological characteristics and behavioral characteristics of the elderly,and the corresponding spatial transformation needs of various characteristics.This paper summarizes and analyzes the principles and key points of transformation in the relevant theories of aging.2:This paper investigates the current situation of rural housing in Guanzhong area,and compares beibaozhai village to investigate and analyze the living situation,living mode and residential space use of the elderly.This paper investigates and analyzes the family structure,income source and housing demand of the elderly in beibaozhai village,and divides the elderly into three categories according to the living status and life mode.According to the current situation of space use,the residential space for the elderly is divided into three categories.According to different types of the elderly and residential space,explore the problems in the current situation of the use of residential space for the elderly.3:The reconstruction design of the building space of typical residents in beibaozhai village is carried out.Starting from the three aspects of spatial layout,functional rooms and other spaces,according to the types of the elderly and residential space summarized above,the selected typical residential building space is classified and reconstructed.This paper summarizes the summarized transformation points and transformation design methods,hoping to provide reference for the aging transformation design of residential space in similar rural areas,and provide reference for improving the living environment of the elderly in rural areas.
