In order to make up for the shortcomings of the current subway barrier-free guidance system, improve the user experience of visually impaired groups during the ride, and improve the service quality of subway barrier-free guidance.According to the investigation and summary of the existing problems in the service design of the existing subway barrier-free guidance system,a relatively scientific and reasonable solution is proposed through theoretical and practical research. With the service design concept as the theoretical support, the research and practice are carried out using service design tools and methods such as field research, questionnaire survey, service touchpoints, user experience journey, and so on.This topic firstly organizes the literature, summarizes the development of the accessibility-oriented metro at home and abroad, proposes the concept of service contacts in service design, and analyzes the applications of physical contacts, digital contacts, and interpersonal contacts involved in public facilities. After that, the subway guidance system is further elaborated, including the overall space environment and the three guidance modes of vision, hearing and touch in the subway, and the design direction of the subway barrier-free guidance system is analyzed.Secondly, the service analysis of the subway barrier-free guide system is carried out,the physiological and perceptual characteristics of the visually impaired are listed, and the user, environment and facilities are the three major service elements constituting the guide system in the subway space environment, and the visually impaired people are summarized. The physiological and perceptual characteristics of users, the special nature of the psychological impact of the subway space environment on passengers, and the current situation of the guide facilities used by the visually impaired in the station are three aspects.Discuss people and their environment together.Thirdly, the bus ride process for the visually impaired is summarized into three parts: getting on the bus, transferring, and leaving the station. And select three key touch points of blind road, audio guide, and manual service that affect the guidance behavior of visually impaired people, analyze their problems in the use and interaction process, and propose solutions.Based on the above research, the design method of the subway barrier-free guidance system is summarized, and the multi-sensory information guidance mode suitable for visually impaired groups is deduced from the three perspectives of direction recognition barrier-free,information recognition barrier-free,and behavior barrier-free.Next,we will conduct a survey on the status quo and demand, and conduct a field survey on the subway space environment, summarize the main problems existing in the blind road in the current barrier-free guidance system, conduct online and offline surveys on visually impaired and subway staff, and summarize and analyze the user’s Based on the requirements in the process of using the guidance system and the problems in the riding process, the user journey map of the visually impaired passengers is drawn to obtain the pain points and opportunities to guide the next practice. Finally, try to design intelligent hardware according to the research results, analyze the existing products from the functional structure, appearance, color and material, etc.,summarize the advantages and disadvantages, and finally select the design elements suitable for this topic to complete the design results. This research broadens the research of service design theory in public transportation space guidance system, and uses theory to guide practice in order to improve the overall service efficiency and service experience of subway barrier-free guidance system through design research.
