| Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,China has been committed to building an innovative country and society.As the primary subject of technological innovation,enterprises are the core environment of the national innovation system.Only by improving the innovation ability of enterprises can the core competitiveness of the country be strengthened fundamentally.For Chinese enterprises,R&D investment is the fundamental to realize the improvement of technological innovation ability.However,the R&D investment of enterprises are affected by a variety of factors,among which the external environment is one of the important factors affecting R&D investment.In order to further stimulate China’s economic vitality and realize innovative nation-building,the Chinese government has formulated many preferential policies to promote R&D investment by enterprises.However,whether these different institutional arrangements have an incentive effect on R&D investment needs further theoretical analysis and research.This paper chooses SAIC Group as the research object,combing the relevant theories and concepts,classifying the institutional environment faced by SAIC Group into intellectual property protection,tax preferential policies and government subsidies,then analyzes the mechanism of influence of these three aspects on enterprise R&D investment trying to reveal the influence of institutional environment on enterprise R&D investment,and finally using the selected input oriented DEA-BCC model to analyze the relevant data to promote enterprise innovation in2014-2021.By studying the influence of institutional environment on the R&D investment of SAIC Group,this paper concludes that SAIC Group has always maintained high efficiency in innovation output,and the favorable institutional environment has not extrusion on the R&D investment of SAIC Group. |
