Research On Internal Control Environment Optimization Of ST Company

Market economy has a quick development in China,internal control takes part in the whole process of enterprise operation.However,the control environment,as the most basic one among the five elements of implementing internal control work,it will seriously affect the overall implementation of internal control.The study helps enterprises to effectively prevent and control risks in the process of development and quickly achieve the goal of high-quality development.The internal control environment is a dynamic concept,it needs to give quick respond and to meet changes from internal and external environment of the enterprise,so enterprise is necessary to constantly optimize its control environment.This paper takes the ST Company as the research object,and the company’s internal control environment has been systematically studied with the Basic Standard for Enterprise Internal Control and the supporting guidelines.Firstly,the theories and methods related to the internal control environment and its related literature are sorted out,and the COSO framework,stakeholders and systematic theory are collated to lay the theoretical foundation for further research.Through investigation,field interviews and questionnaire survey,some problems were pointed out,such as the lack of sound organizational structure,inadequate implementation development strategies,inadequate human resources construction,inadequate fulfillment of social responsibility and unsound corporate culture.Again,in response to the existing problems,an optimization programme for the internal control environment was proposed,including the objectives,principles and basic ideas of optimization,as well as specific elements such as sound organizational structure,implement development strategy,strengthening human resources,effectively fulfil social responsibility and strengthening corporate culture,and safeguards for the realization of the optimization programme were also drawn up.This paper draws up a programme to optimize the internal control environment of ST Company,in order to further improve the internal control and improve the internal control environment,and to ensure that ST Company achieves the goal of legal compliance and avoids business risks.At the same time,it has a certain reference and reference value for other enterprises of similar categories.In addition,it provides a case study for optimizing the internal control environment and improves the research content of the control environment part of internal control.
