| In recent two decades,thanks to the burgeoning global trade,the volume of global import and export increased year by year,which has brought new development opportunities for H company,which is a liner shipping company.Since the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak,the global supply chain was disrupted,the imbalance between supply and demand was aggravated,facing these opportunities and challenges,in a bid to expand global market share,keep the competitive strength,the mergers and acquisitions of H company are becoming more and more intense.In the process of mergers and acquisitions,whether the merger and acquisitions can achieve the expected targets,the talents are playing a key role.In the process of several mergers and acquisitions,the management often focus on the synergistic effect rather than the talents.Human resource is one of the most important resources for H company,which is supposed to pay more attention to retain its talents especially in the process of expansion.The brain drain problem will certainly cause a lot of losses to H company and further impede its growth.This dissertation takes H company as the research object,analyzes the core factors of its brain drain issues and put forward specific solutions,which could give some instructive guidance for other shipping companies.This dissertation uses the thinking logic of “problem posing – problem analysis and investigation – problem solving” to disclose the brain drain issues in mergers and acquisitions.Firstly,description on the research background and purpose,summary of the related theories and research situation of previous study.Secondly,analysis based on the questionnaire results and current situation of the brain drain issue of H company,find out the brain drain problem and study the causes.Thirdly,put forward the strategic countermeasures including setting up precaution mechanism,promoting corporate cultural integration,analyzing talent’s needs and setting up re-employ mechanism,promoting staff integration and enhancing fairness in management.The results of the dissertation can help H company to retain its talents,upgrade its competitiveness and make the most of the value of talents,and also can provide advices for other liner shipping company. |
