Analysis And Strengthening Research On City Image Of Louqiao Street In Ouhai District,Wenzhou

Louqiao Street,Ouhai district,Wenzhou,has become the center of Ouhai from a marginal town due to the new town construction.Due to the rapid expansion of land,the development of various functional areas in the streets is misplaced and the recognition degree is reduced.The urban spatial structure needs to be optimized.This paper introduces the theory of city image,uses the methods of interview and description of cognitive map,questionnaire survey and field research to study the structural city image and evaluation city image of Louqiao street,and puts forward specific suggestions to strengthen the image in view of the current situation of urban development.Firstly,by studying the related contents of the development of Louqiao Street,we can understand the development history and current situation of the city.Secondly,Louqiao Street conducted a survey of urban image,and analyzed the urban structure characteristics and environmental quality of residents’ cognition of the five elements of Louqiao street urban image from the aspects of "cognitive map" and "quality evaluation of urban image elements".It is found that road is the skeleton of urban image,but the overall cognition of the city is fragmented,and the environmental quality of the city is inferior to that of the south.Then,by studying the three image of key areas of Louqiao Street,it is found that the newly-built residential areas lack slow-moving system,and the environmental quality of some node elements is poor;There are few nodes and signs in the industrial park with single type,and the environmental quality of roads,boundaries and node elements is poor;The node environmental quality of traditional residential areas and the overall appearance of villages are poor.Finally,based on the investigation of the image of Louqiao Street and key areas,the planning suggestions are put forward for the overall image of Louqiao Street,such as renovating the main and secondary roads,slow-moving system and ecological corridor,managing the surrounding environment of Wenli Expressway and waterfront landscape belt,and building multi-type areas,primary and secondary nodes and city representative signs in the core area of the city.In the three key areas,improvement measures are proposed,such as renovating the facade of buildings along the street,improving the quality of nodes,and optimizing the spatial layout of villages.This study provides relevant suggestions for optimizing the environmental quality of Louqiao street,and has certain reference significance for the sprawling urban built-up area.
