| Today,with the transformation,upgrading and rapid development of various industries in industrial field,competition in the industry and cross-industry competition are increasingly stimulated.As the key point of supply chain management,accuracy of order forecasting will directly affect the operation efficiency,cost advantage and delivery performance of business.Company A is an enterprise in paint manufacturing industry.Through production planning and scheduling,A has realized the coordination of production,supply and sales,reduced the workload of planners,improved the efficiency of production planning,and realized the fine accounting of costs.However,researcher found that Company A’s order-oriented production mode is following customers’ customized order,so the production is almost all make to order.When the order is in peak season,order delivery performance is very low.The lack of predictive management of marketing in company has caused more problems,such as high manufacturing costs,low added value,and competitiveness weak.There are many working improvement of order delivery in the future.which leads to improve customer satisfaction.This thesis is based on the results of the order delivery of Company A.According to the analysis,it is found company A order forecast level is low,the qualitative forecast is too subjective.Researcher found forecast and demand procedure is lack of management,and it lead to a series of problems,for example,production schedule and stock management is poor.Unstable order batches and inaccurate orders’ information impact operation cost.Based on the previous analysis,a specific program is formulated from the aspects of order forecast,raw material inventory management and order delivery process.About forecast of order system,the internal and external factors have to identify on the process.Organization structure and responsibility scope need to define and clearly for every department in the company.Company establish the Sales and Operation Planning procedure,it help team to improve order forecast and order management.In terms of raw material inventory management,the application of information technology such as SAP system and Radio Frequency Identification,and using ABC classification can improve the raw materials management level.In terms of order delivery,company set up transfer warehouse to reduce logistics cycle time.Finally,company ensure the optimized solution will be implemented in the future,author prepare suggestions and the effect of the strategy is summarized,which provides reference for the business development of powder coating company. |
