The Study On Legal Issues Of Applying BIM Technology To EPC Mode Based On PCA

The measures for contracting and administration of house building and city infrastructural project(The rules of building city [2019] No.12)has been implemented since May,2020,then General contract of construction project(model text)came after.Naturally,the BIM(building-information-modeling)technology has been developed at top speed inevitably in the area of construction project because of its unique technical characteristic.This thesis is based on the stakeholder theory,recognizing the four kinds(condensed to two)of stakeholder and related factor of legal issues in EPC(Engineering,Procurement and Construction)through reading lots of literatures.Moreover,I corrected the factor mentioned above perfectly,and concluded 24 factors of legal issues in the three dimensionalities of responsibilities,contracts and ownership relations through experts-visiting.Secondly,in this thesis,a method of questionnaire survey is used to investigate original data reliably and effectively.Besides,the method of principal component analysis is used to reduce the dimension of primal data,then build matrix based on ingredients,calculate coefficient of all kinds of legal factors in model of synthesis score,the data were given normalized treatment,finally I got the specific weight coefficient of all kinds of legal issues.At last,all the second level factors(24 legal issues)were matched with first level ones(three dimensionalities)to establish a system index system.In the end of this thesis,the relationship and incidence between all the second level factors and first level were analyzed,and related measures and suggestions of legal issues of using BIM technology in EPC model were raised.The analysis thought and method has not only provided a new thought for analyzing the risks and legal issues of engineering projects from a legal perspective in the future,but also expanded the study and application fields of principal component analysis,which in instructive and meaningful to promote the using of BIM technology in EPC model until it is implemented officially.
