| In recent years, human’s increasing energy demand and deteriorating environmental problems have caused worldwide concern. With the increasing impact of global warming, countries have taken measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.Low-carbon economy and low-carbon cities have become hot topics of global concern. As the center of human activities, cities are an important link to consider in carbon emission reduction. As an integral part of the city, the community plays an important role in building a low-carbon city. Therefore,it is very important to explore the ways and practical significance of community low-carbonization.Many old communities built since the 1990 s have different problems. The high carbon emissions and unsustainable construction in the community have brought serious environmental problems to the community and even the entire city. This will be the main starting point of this study. This paper analyzes and summarizes the main causes of excessive urban carbon emissions by studying relevant theoretical literature at home and abroad, and further proposes strategies for lowcarbon landscape renewal design in old communities.Taking Yangqu Community in Shanghai as an example to carry out low-carbon landscape renewal practice, the purpose is to create a small urban carbon pool and make a staged contribution to the low-carbon development of the entire city. This article is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, which respectively explains the research background, research purpose and research significance of this article, and clarifies the research content, research methods and research framework. The second chapter is mainly to explain the background and basic concepts of the low-carbon theory,to sort out the research progress of the low-carbon concept at home and abroad, and to study and analyze the relevant cases of low-carbon design. The third chapter is mainly about the statement of the general situation of the site, the problem analysis of the site reconstruction elements and the calculation of the carbon footprint. On this basis, the author puts forward the design goals, design principles and design strategies. Finally, the design practice of the four areas divided by the site and the comparison of the carbon footprint before and after the carbon footprint transformation are mainly carried out.The fourth chapter is the research summary of this paper,as well as the shortcomings and prospects of the research. |
