The Application Of Productive Landscape In Community Renewal Design

After the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly and people’s living standards have made a qualitative leap.A large number of people flood into cities from rural areas,and urban infrastructure and spatial development are difficult to fully meet the needs of people,resulting in a variety of urban problems.Among them,the effective renewal of community space is one of the most prominent urban problems.The research on productive landscape is an applied research based on people’s yearning for land and urban population’s demand for green space.During his visit to Shanghai in 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed: "We need to make proper arrangements for production,living and ecological space in urban planning,follow the path of high-quality development featuring conreserved,intensive and green development,and strive to create a good environment suitable for working,living,enjoying and traveling." As an important content and effective means of human settlement environment construction,community renewal plays a very important role in urban construction.As a means of sustainable development,productive landscape is used in community renewal,which is conducive to balancing the relationship between urban development and protection,and makes the whole community renewal more ecological and livable.From the Angle of production,to solve the community updates are various,the meaning of from an economic point of view,low input both low maintenance cost is the modern urban green space is difficult to achieve,in combination with the study of science and technology,in each space dimension to improve the planting area of increasing crop yields,interesting and at the same time both the production efficiency,at the same time,it fundamentally shortens the distance between production and consumption,and solves the problem of high food miles in modern society.From the point of view of society,the productive landscape planting in the public space,city residents more land into production activities,this not only makes people for food itself have more understanding,also deepen the people to the land,the sense of belonging that recycled mode on productive value of the land in the city have a more profound understanding.From an ecological point of view,the organic farming process can improve the utilization of waste,achieve the purpose of recycling to reduce energy consumption,and then increase biodiversity,improve the living environment and other functions similar to the general green space.The application of productive landscape in community renewal is not simply the replacement of plant species,but a complex and systematic project,which affects the sustainable development of community in economy,society,science and technology.Through the rational planning and layout of productive landscape,in accordance with the pace of nature,people can get rid of the dependence of industrial large-scale agricultural production and move to a more small-scale,green and sustainable operation,which can also help people get rid of the anxiety of occasional food shortage.The main research content of this paper includes two concepts of productive landscape and community renewal.Through clear definition,research progress and trend at home and abroad,and sorting out and summarizing existing relevant cases,the design methods and application countermeasures of productive landscape in community renewal are studied.The main research contents include: 1.The trend of productive landscape in the background of urban community renewal.2.The definition of productive landscape,the identification of related concepts,related classification and functional discussion.3.The concept of community renewal and the problems and causes of the current domestic renewal.4.Practice of productive landscape in community space,including Agricultural Plaza in Detroit city Center and Ananas Community in the Philippines,and summarize the advantages of productive landscape in community renewal.5.The theories involved in productive landscape practice are sorted out,the design techniques in the design are clarified and updated,and the planting and conservation technologies are introduced.6.Based on the design practice of Jiangnan Cement Factory in Qixia District,Nanjing city,the productive landscape is interwoven into the community with the design techniques of point,line and plane,in order to help the community to carry out sustainable renewal.As a sustainable landscape,the practice of productive landscape in community space is in line with the requirements of human settlement environment construction.In the context of global sustainable development,the application scenarios of future productive landscapes are extensive.Therefore,we should regard the application of productive landscape in community renewal as the beginning of more practical application scenarios of productive landscape in the future,and continue to study and explore more combinations of productive landscape and urban space.
