As an important "killer" of the armies of various countries in modern ground warfare,tanks can not only undertake various combat tasks such as damaging various enemy armored vehicles and destroying enemy fortification obstacles,but also can play a counter-assault role on the defensive end.Therefore,the research on combat damage effectiveness of typical tank targets has important guiding significance for anti-tank operations.This thesis mainly studies from the following three aspects: Structural characteristics of typical tank targets and first-round hitting,damage efficiency of tank in one-to-one case and Counter damage effectiveness of tank unit in combat.The main research works are as follows:Firstly,a certain type of US military tank has been taken for an example to analyze its vulnerability,including the analysis of the car body structure and key vulnerable components(such as turret).According to the different positions threatened by the projectile,the vulnerable surface is divided according to the distribution characteristics of its external armor.A model for calculating the first hit rate of tank gun is obtained by starting from the factors affecting the shooting error of tank accurately hitting the target.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the damage mechanism of the ammunition of the current main battle tank and then calculates the damage probability of different projectiles to the tank target when it hits,analyzes and compares the factors that affect the damage ability of the projectile.This paper also establishes the overall damage model of the tank target to analyze the overall damage efficiency of the projectile to target tank armor under different combat distance and attack position.Thirdly,in response to the changes in the form of tank combat brought about by information technology,this thesis analyzes and studies the damage efficiency of tank unit under operation based on the study of the tank’s one-on-one damage effectiveness,comprehensive consideration of various factors such as the combat distance of the tanks of the opposing parties and the ability of the battlefield information acquisition capabilities of the two parties.It also builds the Lanchester equation’s tank unit confrontation effectiveness evaluation model with reasonable combat scenarios.Finally,based on the previous research,this thesis uses Qt and MATLAB platform to design and develop a simulation software system for calculating the damage probability of various anti-tank ammunition to typical tank targets.It can calculate the first hit probability value under the given parameter conditions and analyze the damage of the tank under the single-to-one case.The system also can calculate the overall damage probability of various anti-tank ammunition to the tank target at different shooting distances and attack azimuth angles.The results have certain significance for guiding tank combat research,and it can provide a reliable platform for analyzing tank damage effectiveness.
