With the rapid development of technology,information-based teaching in China is rapidly advancing to meet the needs and development of society.With the vigorous promotion of national policies,the teaching reform of "Internet plus Education" has made great progress and is getting deeper and deeper.It can be said that the teaching reform of "Internet plus Education" is the need of the times and the trend of the times.However,some vocational schools are still using traditional teaching models,and the limitations of this model are becoming increasingly prominent with the continuous promotion of information technology teaching reform.The main manifestations are: students lack enthusiasm for learning,lack good learning methods,lack positive learning motivation,and are unable to make academic progress.In response to the above issues,while reviewing the theoretical basis and research status of SPOC blended teaching mode,the author combined the student situation and teaching status of a vocational school in Guizhou Province to conduct blended teaching design and application practice research on the course "Building Materials and Testing" in the construction engineering construction major,in order to improve the teaching status of vocational courses and enhance the quality of vocational classroom teaching.This study,based on the principles of blended teaching design and referencing excellent blended teaching design cases,constructed a framework for blended teaching mode based on SPOC platform,and conducted a detailed analysis of the four main parts of the mode: frontend analysis,teaching resources,teaching activities,and teaching evaluation.Secondly,combined with the teaching practice,we selected the professional course "Building Materials and Testing" of the building engineering construction specialty as the practice course,analyzed the current situation of the course teaching and students’ learning through questionnaires and interviews,and then designed the SPOC hybrid teaching mode of the course based on the actual situation,and carried out three rounds of action research practice in the experimental class.Finally,through questionnaire surveys and interviews,the practical effectiveness of the course was verified and summarized from aspects such as student performance and teaching satisfaction.The practical results indicate that the SPOC hybrid teaching model designed in this study is more effective than traditional teaching models in the practical training of the vocational school "Building Materials and Testing" course,and can stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve their academic performance.In addition,up to 90% of students are satisfied with the SPOC blended teaching mode,which has significantly improved their satisfaction compared to the previous traditional teaching mode(55%).This indicates that the SPOC blended teaching model has good practical effects in improving the professional course performance,teaching satisfaction,and classroom teaching quality of vocational school students,providing important reference for the application of this blended teaching model in other architectural professional courses.
