| Secondary vocational education is an important component of the vocational education system and plays a crucial role in talent cultivation.The goal of secondary vocational education is to cultivate technical and comprehensive talents,and the traditional teaching method of "teacher speaking,student listening" is still relatively common in secondary vocational education.However,with the increasing demand for talent innovation in modern society,traditional teaching methods can no longer fully meet the demand.Therefore,seeking a new teaching method is an urgent problem to be solved at present.In recent years,peer teaching method has been favored by teachers and students because of its unique advantages.It is a teaching method that takes students as the main body,advocates independent learning and cooperative learning,cultivates students’ cooperative consciousness,innovative spirit and improves students’ expression ability.As a basic course for the automotive major in vocational schools,"Fundamentals of Automotive Machinery" emphasizes knowledge transfer and technical skill development.Mastering this course well can lay a solid foundation for the future study of mechanical courses.Therefore,this article applies the peer teaching method in the course of "Fundamentals of Automotive Machinery" to design a teaching mode suitable for vocational schools,in order to cultivate innovative and comprehensive talents,better meet the requirements of modern society for talents,and also provide a new reference path for vocational school teaching reform.The specific research content is as follows:(1)Based on the connotation,model,and theoretical foundation of peer teaching method,design a questionnaire for vocational school students and an interview draft for vocational school teachers,conduct questionnaire surveys and interviews,and understand the current situation of vocational school teaching;(2)Based on the peer teaching method,supported by the constructivist learning theory,cognitive conflict theory,cooperative learning theory and hybrid learning theory,the peer teaching mode of the secondary vocational school’s "Fundamentals of Automotive Machinery" class is designed,which mainly includes pre class micro lesson video release,concept test question writing and implementation link presetting;(3)According to the peer teaching mode designed by the author for the "Fundamentals of Automotive Machinery" classroom in vocational schools,experimental and control classes were set up to conduct teaching experiments,and the experimental data was compared and analyzed.The final conclusion is that peer teaching method can significantly improve students’ academic performance,enhance their learning enthusiasm,improve their problem-solving ability,enhance their sense of cooperation,and enhance their expression ability. |
