The building materials industry is a fundamental industry that supports the development of the national economy,improves the living environment,and promotes the construction of ecological civilization.It is an important guarantee for the development of building construction,national defense,military industry,and strategic emerging industries.The building materials industry also plays a very important role in the living environment of Chinese citizens.In recent years,due to the development requirements of the country on the supply side,greening,informatization,and other aspects of the building materials industry,it has faced more and more challenges in terms of green and low-carbon,quality and efficiency,structural optimization,technological innovation,and intelligent transformation.At the same time,the competition among building materials enterprises in the region is becoming increasingly fierce,leading to an endless increase in costs and a decrease in profits,which has become a disguised pressure on the survival of enterprises.For building materials enterprises facing this situation,it is necessary to study their development strategies and achieve sustainable development.Strategic management and strategic analysis tools are important means for enterprises to transition from excellence to excellence,and from greatness to greatness.When faced with changes in the internal and external environment,enterprises need to adjust their strategies in a timely manner,take safeguard measures,respond to changes,and reduce risks in order to maintain their advantageous position in the fierce competitive environment.This article takes Shenghang Group as a research case.Due to its short establishment time and unclear strategic development goals,it only relied on internal business support and industrial foundation in the early stage,forming a certain scale and occupying a portion of the market in the fierce competition of building materials enterprises.However,the internal and external environment is constantly changing,and there are gradually new entrants and price wars among existing competitors in the region.The environmental protection requirements of external policies and the incomplete reform of internal organizational structure of state-owned enterprises have also made them somewhat passive in the market.In view of this,this article uses PEST analysis,Porter’s Five Forces Model analysis,and SWOT analysis to conduct research on the internal environment,macro environment,market stakeholders,internal strengths and weaknesses,external opportunities and challenges of the case enterprise,draw corresponding conclusions,and formulate strategic goals and corresponding safeguard measures,providing reference for Tibetan building materials enterprises.The case enterprise should focus on developing new environmentally friendly and energy-saving building materials that have already been laid out,and promote the short process arc furnace steelmaking plant industry on the basis of optimizing human resources,operating conditions,financial status,and management system mechanisms as soon as possible.Appropriate measures should be taken to prioritize assets over capital,and a competitive enterprise should be cultivated as soon as possible to carry out listing work.Expanding to building materials enterprises in Tibet should focus on improving their capabilities and levels in internal business management,macro environmental response,risk resistance,upstream and downstream of the industrial chain,and market competitiveness.
