| Urbanization destroys surface landscapes and natural habitats, leading to a global decline in biodiversity.Biodiversity is one of the core factors to maintain and support services and functions of ecosystem, its decline seriously affects the dynamic balance of ecosystem and the occurrence of ecological processes. With the expansion of urban planning scale, cities show group-type development, and the types of habitats become more diversified and complicated. The improvement of urban habitat quality is conducive to the protection of urban biodiversity. The systematic improvement of urban habitat needs to be discussed in conjunction with the change of urban spatial gradient. Therefore, this study takes urban habitat as the research object, divides different urban spatial gradients and explores the characteristics and rules of urban habitat in different spatial gradients of Zhengzhou, hoping to provide references for urban green space system planning and biodiversity conservation planning. The research is mainly carried out from two spatial gradients.Based on three years of land use data and socio-economic data, this study analyzed the spatial correlation between socio-economic and habitat quality, landscape pattern factors and habitat quality in urban area, compared the dynamic changes of explanatory power of different factors, and explored the joint effects of multiple factors. Then, building density and height were taken as the main factors to extract the built-up area of Zhengzhou City, and the urban habitats were zoned according to the sunlight environment changes caused by building shading. The species diversity of woody plants under in different habitat zones were investigated and the quality of green space habitat was evaluated. The results showed that:In urban area:(1)From 2000 to 2020,the total value of habitat quality in urban area decreased by 0.10,mainly in the suburbs, and a small amount of habitat quality improvement occurred in the core areas of ecological protection such as mountain and river.(2)From 2000 to 2020,the spatial autocorrelation between all factors and habitat quality increased, and the negative effect of socioeconomic was stronger than the positive effect of landscape pattern.(3)Intensive human activities lead to a single habitat type, which reduces the quality of habitat;Rich landscape types and complex landscape composition can improve habitat quality.Improving the connectivity of the blue-green landscape will help to reduce the negative impact of urbanization on the quality of habitat in urban area.In the built-up area:(4)It is mainly characterized by high building height and high building density, and there is a strong positive correlation between them.(5)Short-sunshine-duration/yinsheng(weak solar radiation)area and zhongsheng(intermediate solar radiation)area usually cover ancillary green space;Yangsheng(strong solar radiation)area basically appears in traffic roads and parks. In the area where the sunshine duration is shorter and the solar radiation is weaker, the green space is usually close to the building, and the green space patches are usually small in size and dispersed in distribution.(6)In the built-up area of Zhengzhou, plants that like sunlight are generally planted.Woody plants are more diverse in moderate-duration-sunshine/zhongsheng(intermediate solar radiation)areas; There was a positive correlation between the habitat quality score of urban green space and the sunlight environment, and the habitat quality score of urban green space was the highest in the long-duration-sunshine/zhongsheng(intermediate solar radiation)area. This kind of habitat mostly appeared in the small and medium-sized greenbelts surrounded by buildings.(7)When the sunlight environment is in line with the plant demand for sunlight and this type of plant is dominant in the community, the green space habitat quality is higher, and the planting amount of different sunlight-demand type plants should be arranged according to the dominant sunlight environment type of green space habitat,so as to form a more stable community. In high-density cities with similar latitudes, attention should be paid to the construction of small and medium-sized green space between buildings. |
