In recent years,rapid urbanization has leaded to the expanded urban building area,reduced sharply original natural habitat area,which makes the quality of urban biodiversity and ecosystem fall off accordingly.The promotion of urban biodiversity mainly relies on all kinds of urban green land,especially the affiliated green land with fragmentation,smaller dimension,and less attention.Considering the importance of the habitat network constructed by the affiliated green land with smaller dimension to the biodiversity protection,at the same time,in view of the fact that the urban block unit is the minimum development control unit in modern urban construction and its influence in the urban spatial hierarchy structure,this paper chooses to conduct the habitat network research at the unit scale of city blocks;Besides,considering the diversity and systematicness of university campus green land spatial pattern,and the similarity with block unit in dimension level,this article chooses urban university campus as the study object of urban block unit habitat network construction.Combined with urban ecology,landscape ecology,island biogeography,biological diversity theory,landscape connectivity theory,and penetration theory,etc.,applying the methods including field research,document analysis,software analysis,and case study,etc.,the study summarizes and analyzes the spatial pattern construction of Xi'an typical university campus green land,researches and refines every inscape design approach of campus habitat network,and also constructs,and extrapolates ideal university campus habitat network model.The main research content and construction are as below:1.According to the habitat network of urban block dimension,the study is based on the definition of habitat network construction to the habitat network inscape of urban university campus block---campus “large scale – core protective style” habitat plaque,campus “medium scale – nature and half nature” habitat plaque,campus “small scale – springboard style” habitat plaque,and campus habitat gallery,and illustrate its model graphic representation and concept features.2.By analyzing the related ecology principle,the article extracts four design approaches of campus habitat plaque---companion method of big,medium and small plaques,correspondent method of shape and function,location method of newly increased and springboard protective plaque,and substitution method of bunching plaque,and six design approaches of campus habitat gallery---3D greening method of campus narrow and long gallery,design method of campus main road green belt,design method of campus relaxed landscape green belt,design method of campus core landscape green belt,connection method of node habitat plaque,and covering method of diversity habitat.The article also makes a detailed specification about the basic theory,method feature,and applied condition.3.By analyzing a series steps including network pattern index,deciding key habitat plaque,constructing habitat network skeleton,and habitat plaque quality improvement,etc.,the article constructs three ideal network models of urban university campus habitat---“crossing radiated pattern” habitat network model,“dendritic partition pattern” habitat network model,and “tandem line pattern” habitat network.The article also makes an explanation about the model graphic representation,applying condition,and feature.
